Always hoped you’d return with an update video. You were really doing a great job. Hope you still have your Beetle and are maybe by now driving it around and enjoying all the effort. Cheers!
It’s so refreshing to see a teenager willing to put in the work to achieve a goal. And you have truly achieved something great here. I hope my daughter turns out to have that same attitude. You are amazing
Keep checking just in case a new video has been uploaded, nope It's a shame but with the internet what it is, someone will always try to ruin things so I hope you got your car finished, put in a roll cage to keep it safer and are doing fine, graduated top of the class in some university and are making nice money to rebuild your Bentley when your kids are grown enough to help! Enjoy, that's what it's there for!
Hello Hannah. I just came across your channel today and find your beetle project very interesting and helpful. I'm only 16 years old myself and I'm restoring a 1969 VW Beetle. Unfortunately, you are no longer making videos. I would be very interested in what your bug looks like now. Greetings Dustin.
Keep checking back occasionally, hoping to see more videos. You have done remarkably well Hannah. You are a great inspiration to others. Hope you and your family are doing well and that you were able to finish your car. Would be nice to get an update.
@@t.e.1189 search the headline he printed. Comes right up... but as another here mentions the dates do not line up. Hanna's Videos in here are dated after that gals death in WA.
I just found your channel. It's great!! This episode reminds me of the time that I swapped engines by myself on my old Karmann Ghia. I jacked up the rear, slid two tires under the engine, and then I removed the four bolts that connect the engine to the bell housing. The engine dropped onto the tires, and I just pulled the whole arrangement back away from the car. I then reversed the process to install the new engine. Did it all in one day. I love old VW's.
Great Tutorials! You are a great teacher, and it's super cool to see you approach each step with a practical solution. Your parents must be super proud!
Thank you Hannah. I don’t know where you are but I just made a crane just like yours and lifted the body off my 2001 jimmy. I’m making a 4x4 racer😂😂. Thank you so much for your time and effort into these projects. We love you and miss you.
Just discovered your show today and love it! My grandfather left me a VW bug when I was young, but it rusted and my family got rid of it before I could drive or do anything about it. I hope to get another one someday or maybe a Karmann Ghia. I'm going to learn a lot from watching this. Thank you for all your efforts of shooting and editing these videos. Excited to see how Jujubee turns out. :)
Hannah, you did a great job in the work that you performed as well as describing what you are doing. You might encourage others to try some of your techniques.
Am I allowed to watch. I am an old man and find it very refreshing seeing the skills and knowledge you have. Keep up the great work from a very old VW mechanic.
Love everything about this! Great job on the videos and the work you are doing. I'm thrilled to see a young woman doing this. Plus I'm a very big fan of air cooled VWs. need to get myself another one soon.
Hopefully things are well with you and yours! I've shared this with my girls, and we've gone over the series a few times talking of builds we would like to accomplish together. Thank you for the good clean content.
Hi Hannah, I've just fallen onto your downloads-Love them ! Watching from England. Well done. Great to see someone like yourself restoring the bug.Two of my friends are women who are both restoring bugs ! I have a T2 van, owned for 25yrs and well used and abused, only because I keep using and enjoying it. Looking forward to following your progress.
Hannah....well done young lady...can't wait to see the end results of this project...and I love the educational portion of everything you are doing... I also want to give kudos to your parents for allowing and aiding in your venture...
My son and I have watched every episode so far and it makes me feel great that there are parents teaching their kids the arts of restoration as well as woodworking! I can tell Hannah is very intelligent and will do well in whatever career is in store for her. My son is 15 and we are restoring a 90 Mustang GT at the same time. Although ours is heavily modified, he is experiencing much of the same learning experiences. We look forward to the next installment!
I just came across and love your videos. Its great to see a young lady interested in restoring a car. Keep up the great work. Best of luck with everything. And waiting for #14
Great job , its astounding as such a young person has so much ambition to do what you're doing , keep up the great job , can't wait to see the next episode .
Really enjoyed watching your videos. Hope to see an update at some time in the future. You're a very impressive young lady! Guys, this is what happens when you pass on your knowledge to your kids. Your destined for greatness Hannah!
So what happened to the project? I have been working on a 66 Mustang project with my daughter also. You have a great production and channel going here. Revive the build.
Young lady you are awesome!! Very knowledgeable on all aspects of every project you do. I work with all kinds of grown men that have nowhere near your common sense and concern for safety. I applaud you and can't wait to see your bug finished! Keep up the amazing work and good luck!
Please keep on going, Hannah! My very first car was a beetle as well, I named her Christine, and I spent hours and hours and hours repairing and improving her. So rewarding, such good times, so many cool trips. You won't regret it, I promise, your beetle will love you back!
I just finished watching all your vids. I look forward to seeing you take this project to its eventual end. Congratulations on what you have thus far accomplished!
I love following your progress and am anxiously awaiting Episode 14. Some people learn enough about something to be able to "do it". You are learning the details enough to explain or teach it. Those are skills that not everyone has. Congratulations
wow! this young lady is a go getter..Kudos to you Hannah. It just goes to prove that women can be just as good as men in building things. Aside from that, a suggestion. When you fasten the 1st board on a 2nd one, the 1st one needs a hole slightly larger than the fastening screw (also known as pre-drilling) so that when a screw is being inserted, it is not engaging on the 1st board but on the 2nd one. If you don't do this, the first board will not be properly fastened and it may even rise up when the screw enters the 2nd board.
I agree that she does everything very well, but obviously she has somebody teaching her and guiding her and choreographing and scripting everything that she does and says. It's also obvious that she has learned a lot and has learned to do those things very well. But occasionally when doing videos that involve a lot of detail sometimes techniques or information are overlooked or misrepresented and shortcuts are made in the rush to get a video finished. Personally, I'd like to see her leave the little kiddie stuff OUT. If she wanted to, she could do her Kiddie videos on a separate Channel.
Young lady, you are awesome!! I bet your parents are super proud. I know I would be. Whoever is working with you and teaching you is giving you an education that you'll never get in school, and will last you the rest of your life. Keep up the good work, stay positive and focused. You'll go a long way with the education you're getting in these projects. You're not learning what to think, but rather how to think on your own. That's a priceless lesson that I try to instill in my 3 little girls everyday. Again, great job and there's a daddy in NC who is very proud of you!!!
Glad to see a young person work for what they want. Your folks must be proud of you. Also the science and physics lessons are interesting too. I am happy to see another car saved especially a vw I had one as my 1st car. fixed it up to take my test in also. But, mine was not as rusty as yours. I knoow guys that would not do what you are doing. keep it up young lady. much respect.
I'm so inspired now. I have been such a turd for moping around over the fact that a super-cool Ford Mustang given to me by a U.S. Marine has a bad cylinder or two. What the heck! IMA REBUILD THAT ENGINE!!!
Hannah, you are the greatest! I am 60 years old and haven’t done half the things that you did in your video. My sincere admiration goes to you and your dog Bernoulli for a marvelous job. Keep the videos coming .
Oh Sure. Where were you and all that talent when I was repairing my car? I really admire all that enthusiasm and hard work. Someday soon, it will all pay off. Keep up the good work.
I'm very proud of you Hannah, your an inspiration to all young hands on repairers. But just to give you some advise to help you with your tremendous work, the engine goes in the back on a beetle. Cheers, UK Philip.
Watched the whole series so far. You seem to be doing just fine, and making progress. Don't stop working on your Bug now. Good luck with your project. I think you'll do just fine in whatever profession you choose in the future. Good luck.
Hanna, I hope that you and your family are doing well, as you must know, we miss your videos. My own daughter, who also uses my shop, is amazed by your work, and she’s 26. Please give a reply somewhere to just let us know everything’s fine.
+Mel Gross, I returned, after watching the commentary for well over a year now, just to see even the most minuscule of comments or replies from Hannah, and share your concern. To Hannah, and her family, You have managed to amass a most impressive catalog of DIY automotive restoration videos. Hannah's talent, intelligence, and "get it done" spirit have endeared your many channel followers, who not only miss seeing new material, we miss your lack of commentary since 2016. RU-vid is not necessarily a website/service which generates mystery often, however, I would venture a guess that your disappearing from the "Hannah's Bug" Channel is, as of this day, 07 January 2018, RU-vid's greatest mystery. We collectively wish you nothing but the best. Please, if possible, post just one more commentary, which will quell the wonder as to your situation.
Truly impressed by this young lady's skills, not only mechanically but also verbal communication wise. Her Dad, no doubt, is a very good teacher and pretty good videographer, too. Just be safe, as I appreciate your use of safety goggles and the likes as you worked. Wished that I had taught my children these practical life skills that will last a life time.
Girl, you are nothing short of awesome. More power to you. Keep doing what you love to do (that may change from day to day and month to month. Follow your heart and you will never go wrong.
+Harambe Flambee Ah, I see you have overlooked how Top Gear used to lend a deeply spiritual and engagingly philosophical aspect to what might otherwise be summed up simply as an alternative to public transport. Of course, all that, sadly, went out of the window when the shouty little freak got the gig...
just watching you i'm so impressed. i can only hope someday my kids have the same will and desire. and pay attention as it looks like you have done. your father must be very very proud.
You're a very mechanically inclined young lady. You seem to understand the concepts of what your doing too. You will enjoy yourself for the rest of your life with all these talents you are forming. I'd hire you in a heartbeat. Keep up the good work. :)
Very good job on all of your videos. You have shown skill and knowledge on auto body work that many men can't do. I need to get my 14.5 year old daughter to watch you videos . I got her a 1974 super beetle sun bug that she is supposed to help me work on to get it fixed up. It doesn't have as much work as yours but it will be a great learning experience for her. Great job and keep it up.
Awesome job Hannah. It's good to see you guys working on the bug. Post an update on how you guys are doing. Just a large safety note, when using a lift, always stay on the outside of the lift frame, in case something happens the frame will help you from getting crushed. Also use as a minimum when painting outside with any none toxic paint use an N95 or better. If painting with oil based paints use the respirator recommended by the paint manufacturer. We all want to see you grow up and drive that bug. Best wishes n Blessings. Keith Noneya
wow just tuned in and must say I'm really impressed that you know so much and can do so much by yourself you and your dad must be proud of your accomplishments can't wait to see what's next keep going you can do it!!!!!
Hannah your my hero!!!!!! I did the same project as you when I was 15. I got a 1958 VW that I completely rebuilt into a show car. With a 1835cc motor with dual 40 Webber carbs. It was cream color with coral red interior. Next was a 1956 convertable then a 1957 black oval window bug then 6 more then 4 Porsches...I had 22 cars by the age of 22....good luck girl keep up the great job your doing and remember to always have fun....and the build can be more fun than the finished car. beep..beep...varoooom
Great job Hanna, been missing your videos. It is amazing to see a beautiful young lady with an unbelievable skill set. I can't say I have ever seen a girl as young as you are do as much as you do and with personality too.
High energy, good attitude, good skills, good work ethics, A great audience of stuffed animals. I would suggest that when working with or on the more bulky parts of the job that a pair of mechanic gloves would be in order, nothing slows down a job more than a hand injury.
Love the Hippity Hop dance @ about 3:03. I learn something new in each of your videos. This too will be my preferred method of moving 2 x 4's laying on the ground from now on!
I'm expecting more soon. The cold weather is mostly gone now, and next month, she should start her summer school break. I don't think she is going away just etc, but its been too cold recently, and now school is more important.
HOLY HANNAH !!!!! Just watched your video on reinforcing Harbor Freight shed for your VW. Brilliant. You are an inspiration;and funny too. Keep up the good work.
