Eric is a great communicator. He's able to breakdown the most complex information into something that everyone can understand. He's the reason I'm planning on starting my masters in nutritional science next year and I hope to go on to do my PhD in exercise science as well. I'm in Australia as well so hopefully I can make that short trip over to work with him. Thanks for the great episode as always guys.

Eric Helms is dangerously rational in his scientific approach to bodybuilding, in that the facts, or lack there-of, will never be compromised for clicks, likes, followers etc. Where he lacks in popularity, he makes up for in delivery and content quality. Humility may keep him obscure for only so long, now that he’s begun gracing the silver screen.

Always a better day at work when the Cult drops that knowledge.

The only post-workout window I care about is the one that leads to Eric’s bedroom.

This really is one of the the best lifting podcasts around. The only other one that comes close if the stronger by science one. Thanks Omar and Eric for making these! There are so few science based lifting channels left that haven't sold out.

Love the context given. So helpful to understand how to make deloads fit the individual.

Hey fellow iron culture fans! I checked in with Erics people. The calves episode should be coming soon. The hard drive the training footage was on got corrupted but they are restoring it now. Thanks for another great episode guys! I will be in touch!

If I got to choose, I'd have only Erics doing this stuff. Helms, Trexler, how come they all are so good and fun?

For me, I feel I need to pull back even more on my deload, that when you hit the brakes, hit them hard theory. I came back from active rest hitting massive PR's whereas after a deload my strength is almost never recovered and I still feel worn. Though a deload is not to reduce all fatigue necessarily correct. Good thoughts, good discussion.

Hey! if there's no Sir Dr Scholastic Mr Eric there's no sports science, nor history nor horticulture, nor household appliances, we want him be a 'fixture'. I mean a regular!. Yeah! ~~ stops squatting and starts waving a 1158 lbs loaded barbell in demanding gestures ~~

I'd watch these if it wasn't for Omar's distracting and annoying long winded attempts trying to be too funny. And I think helms has to put in A LOT of effort not to come across as too impressed with the smell of his own farts.
