A long time ago Graham, I did do a conversion of a jumbo with a Cobra MK2 board, but I kept the original cybernet ch change but With Cybernet using negative binary I only had to change the common of the ch change to accommodate the positive binary for uniden with the addition of the N/codes. I can only think that the ch change is of the Uniden type for the need to invert the ch codes. as 1 being high side injection and the other low side. PLL/ Synth.
A sorted cobra is a damn good radio as we all know .The cust wanted to pay to have the HC806 replaced and make it functional again , it turned out well, nice radio , silly money these days tho .
