He did not say anything good in this film. There is nothing about how to connect about the power supply requirements. The configuration is also wrong because the row of diodes is too long and leads to flickering. If someone wants to do it right then look for other videos that explain it better.
Is it possible to use the signal generator and oscilloscope at the same time with this device? On the one hand, should we apply the frequency device with the signal generator and on the other hand, see the result simultaneously with the oscilloscope?!
Por favor me podrias indicar donde conectar mi frecuecimetro para ver la fecuencia en tx y rx?? Gracias por todo muy buen canal enhorabuena. Mi placa es la pb010ab 360 fm.
Thank you for the reply, it’s been a bit of a mission to be honest, I picked it up in a job lot of a have ago hero . The new caps I ordered turned up today so I have just spent the last few hours scratching my head with it and when I started swapping them over one was actually in backwards ! ... so after swapping it over and a few other parts later all sorts of magical things started to happen . I now have pa and audio , new tx light is working and have 12v all the way up to d13 but unfortunately it does look like the finals .. is there anywhere that you recommend to get a new replacement it has the original C103 in it , there are so many bad copy’s out there . Regards mark .
nice radio great repair - is this the same board in the Jumbo 3 ? The green frequency counter you use doesn't come over very well on video just an observation.
Thanks , yes same board as a jumbo 3 , mm3 . Yeh i know the green counter has issues in filming , maybe i'l try a red one again see how that looks , i just use that counter as a quick test , any serious alignment is done on my proper counter .
Great guide! I have a cheap solder iron from ali, I can set the temp on it ( hope it's accurate) what kind of temp should I be using to try and take them out? and what kind of temp to solder the pins back in? Thank you !!
I owned a nato 2000 once I liked it the radio was very sensitive like with most cyber net radios you had to watch the channel selectors on these I always wanted to know how the radio was converted. a friend of mine used to repair radios he told me the chips got swapped around it was interesting to se it done I enjoyed watching. I would love to repair radios but not sure on exactly what is needed
Thank you great video I was surprised how cheap it was to make I wonder how actuate it is looks like it works well could these be wired for coax use if needed. I really like the project and enjoying your content others can learn from you thanks again
Yes a coax one could be built , just dont connect the counter direct to the center , even just a few turns of wire wrapped around the center will pick up on, they are very stable.
I have fond memories of this because it was my first multi band cb radio. I have vague memories of a problem with very low rf out on fm caused by a diode.
algún troyano o alguna función oculta de tu sistema operativo debe estar penalizando el rendimiento de tu pc por que el 1700x en cinebench r15 da 1567cb y el ryzen 9 5900x llega a 3646cb
@2:43 I reverse engineered those boards years ago, uses the MC145151 or something from memory, I made my own versions too where I added some other bands and 5k steps, a very similar board is used in Uniden based radios too for the TC9106 and TC9109
Amazing guidance to Bios update straight to the point .. I was searching years for this kind of mobo guide .. I own 370 Gaming 5 1.0 which looks similar to K7 I don't know which one is better in stability .. in fact mine has a lot of issues .. about 3 years ago, First bios stuck due to update and I don't know how to fix it.. I switched on second bios and updated to F25 which is pretty solid & stable.. The first bios stuck on 30/31 unbootable .. I was thinking to buy 5800X3D to update my current 2700x CPU Tonight i try update my bios.. I have to ask you something.. in the middle of updates did u boot windows and update chioset drivers ? because gigabyte requirements before bios update also u go straight for 40F Page said u need to update EC FW tool before update to 40 😮😅 BTW thanks for the guide and for your time !
It was a while since i did this , just for doing it right maybe its worth updating the chipset drivers when asked. I "think" i went straight to the 40f bios , it wont flash if you need one before. The firmware tool is for memory issues , just follow the update sequence on gigabyte site .it will take a few flashes to get to latest . Thanks for watching.
@@MicroChipz I see, I notice in comments that you answer u said about dual & single bios updated at the same time.. That means my stucked bios will updated to the latest version.. if I switch to single .. anyway buddy thank you very much for your time and for the guidance & help appreciate! Anyway
If you have a broken BIOS say in bios A , switch to BIOS B , enter the bios setup and switch to bios A, then flash it .I had to do that once on a corrupt bios . In dual bios mode i"presume " it will boot from the working bIOS , i have mine in single mode , so if it ever corrupts i can switch over .its double the work flashing to latest , but if you install a cpu and switch to a unsupported bios it will not boot , thats why i updated both one after the other.
@@MicroChipz Ahaa I didn't know that u can switch bios when u are already booted! Thank you!! I do that !! I have 2700x CPU I'm going to update bios first to check if everything works perfect on current cpu then il go for 5800x! 😀
Well spotted , it does look crusty , and it looks like the pin that was causing trouble. Maybe the act of removing the relay and putting it back sorted the issue .I haven't had any feedback from the cust saying its faulty again .
I have a Cobra 148GTL DX (010AA board not the AB type), which was an early development radio worked on by John Nugent, who fitted some of his early PCB boards to (had to remove them though). There were also telltale signs where he would leave marks or signs to say he worked on the radio.
Arhh.. the old KS boards, lovely. Fitted many of these back in the day into cybernet and Uniden FM chassis. The Unidens were the worst to broadband for 4 blocks - nightmare. They were the best available at the time and very well made. I still have one fitted to my Rotel 240 with Low, Mid, Hi & UK bands on a 4 way switch. I still have all the fitting documentation and wiring installation diagrams for these along with their EPROM boards that KS produced - I can send some scans if you want. 👍
