You know your way around that radio for sure.. Lets hope that the USA gets the same channel allocations that Europe has because 4 modes USB, LSB, AM and FM on 40 channels is starting to kind of suck.. If this happens there will be a lot of need to make older radios bigger and better..

Im sure theres some "unofficial" channels you can use , or is the FCC strict on these ?

@@MicroChipz Well that depends but yes it is illegal and carries a very heavy fine.. They mostly just go after the real troublemakers but there is nothing stopping them from finding tens of thousands of people using high power and non approved channels/modes..
