EP 165 - NATO 2000 - a 27/81 classic. How did it get approved ?. A look at a classic radio. 

I owned a nato 2000 once I liked it the radio was very sensitive like with most cyber net radios you had to watch the channel selectors on these I always wanted to know how the radio was converted. a friend of mine used to repair radios he told me the chips got swapped around it was interesting to se it done I enjoyed watching. I would love to repair radios but not sure on exactly what is needed

Nice radios I knew quite a few people who had them back in the day I always wondered how they got them type approved for uk use yes the sinad men I’m not one lol I just use my 1960’s Marconi audio watt meter plugged into the external speaker socket and set my signal generator to the correct frequency and 1k tone and that works for me you don’t need all singing and dancing tools but It’s nice to have them top video as always I could do with you working your magic on my 23 channel midland Am ssb radio when you get some free time
