6/6/44 Channel Marker at Gold Beach on D-Day
Distributing instructions in the assault anchorage after the first landings in Normandy (Gazette Date - 19/12/44)
6/3/45 Captured a German Biber Type midget submarine off Breskens in the Scheldt Estuary. Eleven Bibers had sortied that day. Four were found abandoned along the coast at North Beveland, Knocke, Domberg and Zeebrugge.
One was sunk by gunfire off Westkapelle on 8 March and five vanished.

Sculling is a great way to get around with one oar, such as up a narrow channel. We had a notch in the rear of our dinghy and we taught ourselves to scull with a single oar facing rearwards, really handy in tight spaces and for getting alongside the mother ship without marking things with an oar. Great progress on the beam shelf!

It would be very useful to show the drone video to the parking lot caretakers (or other superiors), because some yachts and boats are very far from the marina itself and may also have been swept away by the flood.
