DMX working fine, but not BT. Once I reset my MC’s, they pop up in the scan, appear to pair successfully, but I have no control over them. The sliders do nothing. Am I missing something?
This all look great but I'm kinda affraid to check the price of the Sidus One ... ok I checked ~$450. And I need Ipad too :(. And I guess for some lights I would have to get DMX unit. Question is, can I control other manufacturer's lights which does not have DMX? I kinda doubt it :(.
@7:16 you show a dmx connection screen on the MC pro, where is that screen in the menu system. I can't find it. Also linking reliably is not covered in these instructions. I'm having a heck of a time getting more than one MC pro linked at a time. You've got that great Bluetooth and wifi data channel you could use to do all that insteat of all that menu diving. Why not use all the great tech you have in the unit to make it simpler to use? I understand the need to make it backward compatible with dmx only lights, but can't you have a seperate process for more modern Apurture lights? The best of both universes, so to speak.
pixel effect controls coming soon? also really need to add some buttons to be able to audition the lights individually instead of just using master control. blacking out everything is not a good solution. Each unit needs individual blackout controls. hope someone reads this. please update the app with new firmware
@@BenDynice-Aputure Hey Ben Thanks for getting back to me. The slider is helpful but not fast enough or very accurate way of saving a light. For Example: DP tells Gaffer" Hey Bring the key light up to 85%" "okay now bring the hair light up 10 points" " Okay save the Key Light and meter what T Stop the Hair Light is at." (WITH A SLIDER I NEED TO BRING IT DOWN TO 0%) "Okay Bring back the Key Light." (NOW DIM IT BACK UP TO EXACTLY 85% AGAIN) This is really bad, We should be able to do this with LED no problem. Even with a tungsten unit with an old 1K dimmer you can shut off the unit without changing the dimmer intensity. If a light is set to a F2.8 I should not have to dim it down to black it out. Yes I can Have my KeyGrip bring in a solid in front of the light or I can unplug the Aputure unit from the wall for a moment. But this not the way to work. there needs to be an on and off button for every unit, like a light switch. ON/OFF Not just master but for every unit on the stage. You don't like the look of that MC in the background. One click its off. lets see it back on. click now its on. dimming changes the value and it too slow to get back to the desired intensity value using dimmer.
