Hi. Just started exploring the option of buying a home in Thailand. However; as far as I can see you do not actually own the property as a foreigner, either you have to sign it over to a Thai citizen (a huge no-no) or risk losing the home? How can you own the house, but not the property? Can you buy through your company and if so; how does that change things? Am I missing something?

😂😂😂😂😂haha... 123k AUD! that's what it's worth even go as far to say 96k AUD! Never catch me paying western price in Thailand...where's the public bus system, safe walking foot paths, public amenities and council rubbish collection..list goes on as to what one is not receiving as standard purchase. This is one reason why property is say..300k aud! Parks, kids play ground, 4 schools in area to choose from, shopping zones, drainage from property, bin collection, foot paths, trains, buses, ferries! 555555 doesn't add up..these costs..high risk too

@@MeditateMeHigherweird, your value of a house depends entirely on government services that are paid for separately with taxes in other countries? Not to mention not having to pay property tax or rates like you do in the west. Thailand does provide rubbish collection by the way, but as with any beach town separated away from the city you are correct there won't be any public transport or footpaths. The amount of house you get for a few hundred thousand AUD is 10x what you would get over there. The common fee covers the amenities usually offered at any decent moobaan such as a pool, gym, garden areas, securitym, etc but that you do not get in the west, plus you have the bonus of not having to worry about constant violent crime, drug use and gangs like Aussie has to :)
