Some of my fondest Kiss memories, I/we have you, Mike, to thank for. I've never had enough money to go to any of those Kiss cruises. One of the best Kiss-related moments for me were the Bruce Kulick band performances on the cruises. The Rock Experience videos of the BK band were such great quality that it made me feel like I was there too. Thank you, Mike, for chronicling and sharing with us those great performances!
I think the best way for kiss to keep their brand alive for years to come would be to open like a kiss world, with loads of kiss themed rides and roller coasters and museums shops etc. like a smaller version of Disney world. There brand is perfectly suited to that in my opinion. Play there music in and around the grounds and on rides. Even Dollywood will be on the go year's after Dolly passes.
Go back and take a look at older footage when Paul is literally screaming his stage raps in between songs. I’ve always thought about all that extra damage he put on his vocals for years doing that.
For the last few years i have told people. I didn't go to hear a Kiss show, i went to see a Kiss show I have spent 40 years seeing and hearing them at their best. Now I go just to be entertained
I proposed to Mr. Speed that they do a show at Magic Mountain in their older Love Gun outfits on May 19th to celebrate Kiss show when the made Kiss meets the phantom in the parkinglot where kiss did their show...ive stood there many of times in that place where their stage was on and thought about that...... .
Y&T have toured pretty much non stop for 50 years Saw them at Donnington in 1983 and didn't see them again until 2009. They sounded exactly the same and have every year since
I think the song that showed Pauls peak at his singing level and im not talking about the song just his voice power was an all time high on My Way off Crazy Nights....i think that song showed his all time peak as a vocalist.
Mike & Vincent, for people our age and younger, unless they’re 20 or younger, this will not work. And for it to even have the slightest chance, they need to wait 5 years or more. I think you hit it on the head Vincent, maybe just let it end and there is all kinds of audio & video that could be released for the next 25 years for sure!!! I’m very disappointed in this!!! 😭😭😭
People I know that have seen the ABBA show have been multiple times. If ILM's Kiss show is successful I will be surprised, but I believe that with the same level of investment it will be quite a spectacle.
My take on the final show is like Vincent said, before the show something could be done, hey why not update the video reel that was shown back on the farewell tour, it is short but it has a quick look at the whole band kisstory. As the show perse I watched on PPV and as in terms of technology and effects it is the best show they ever done, I hate the camera angles, the show from Argentina (I was there) from 2022 has better camera shots, as a normal kiss show was very good but not for a final show, my heart was hoping something different to happen but my brain said nope, the show is so well ensabled that is next to impossible to add something different, like the medleys from the final farewell shows, and again my impression is that Paul did not want peter and or ace because the risk of disorder that they could bring, but it is what it is, sadly for one side kiss became the most predictable band in the world, but also I saw two times the tour one in Argentina 2022 and other in Colombia this year, and man I enjoy it every single minute of the shows, from the intro to the last explosion I felt like I was 13 years old, no other show are gonna top what I feel on those shows, meeting fans from other countries, the sense of a tribe the whole enviroment, I cant find the words how happy I was at that moments, and in the end is all that matters, the memories of being at kiss shows
They should have done All American Man....Larger Than Life and Rockett Ride on the Alive 2 tour in 78 to help promote Kiss Alive 2 even more....instead of the same set list from the Love Gun tour the previous year.
Mike still being too nice about Stanley. It's a disgrace that they didn't even acknowledge previous members at all including deceased members. He must be a really horrible narcissistic man. it's bad enough when the 3 sides guys were critical of the last show. I was surprised but happy at their honesty.
I take no issue at all with your comment. I DO believe Paul (or Gene) should have recognized previous members, but besides that I feel I got exactly what I expected. Sure I hoped for a different song or something, but I really didn’t expect that. Either way, I appreciate you watching and thanks for commenting!

Bruck Kulick era totally deleted. Asylum thru Carnival of Souls. The other 9 KISS members got at least one song. Vinnie honored with Lick It Up, Mark honored with Heavens on Fire and Tommy & Eric honored with Say Yeah! SMH
Whether people want to admit it, or not, the fact of the matter remains and has been that Paul Stanley cannot sing, live with any consistency anymore. He hasn’t been able to for 12 years or more. The line Paul gave at the time when Eric and Tommy came in the band was that they could play any era and any song and do whatever they want and that they were no longer restricted to the same set list that they had with Peter and Ace. The last tour that they had a respectable and varied Setlist was in 2004, ironically, the last tour that Paul had a voice. This final tour, he is singing to a backtrack. so you don’t have that flexibility of playing 80s material where his voice was ridiculously high and most likely contributed to the problems he has now.
Youve never told us Vincent when did you start playing guitar and are you self taught or did you get lessons...me being a drummer im self taught...just curious.....
The live audio on the PPV was out of synch a lot times ! But overall it was a pretty predictable stock show. Paul seemed like he just wanted to end it.
And now my take on the avatars, geez, I have mixed emotions, dealing with anxiety it is hard to process beacause the little info they gave besides the quick videos they posted, on one side for new generations it is interesting on the other side is a risky move to be made, it could go two ways a great succes or a gigantic flop, but since the beginning the band has done risky moves (the make up, the merchandising, remove the make up, the reunion, the current line up, etc), only time will thell
Forget the avatars.....! Its not Kiss!...other than the music theyll pump in...future kiss fans should know the real band and how they had to work hard to get to where they are and how they st the bar for live shows!
In the last 20years KISS have been like a bad soap opera. Everything seemed hardcore staged & rehearsed. The same clichéd phrases all the time. It's a real miracle that the Monster album still turned out so well. I'd rather just listen to the music and ignore their embarrassments.

Jesus complaining about a lyric flub......seriously?? Why not sit back and enjoy this bit of KISS history and count yourself LUCKY to have been there to soak it all in! Lip syncing, bla...bla...bla..Motley Crue entire comeback tour is guitar hero performed....😉 This current version is the best yet, sound, stage presence, performance member chemistry, the original 4 had WAY, WAY too much drama for only being together such a short time and carried over into the RaRHOF induction, HELL NO dont want this on this night! Now I do agree that the music selection could have been much better, mix it up guys! Would have been awesome to hear some real oldies, Hotter then Hell, Firehouse, She. etc.... But it is what it is, we got what we got, nothing we could do about it.... I have seen every version of Kiss and was NEVER thinking to my self wow wish Ace was there, naw as that was the version that WAS kiss at the time. I have never seen so much whining about former members and for not other reason other then to complain! NO OTHER group would have asked former sour members to come and perform on this special show and have a special event potentially ruined by the drama most of the former members bring, F THAT! Kiss is today, Eric, Paul, Tommy, Gene, thats it and that is what we got..... The preshow interviews, meh who cares didnt care or hate it, it is what we received, it was terrible for us in the attendance as it was spotty, out of focus, frame who was in charge of this as they had YEARS to plan this night out....I too would have enjoyed a short video of Kisstory but 30 minutes, way too long but yeah something..... The ending, well I LOVED the way they just disappeared into the fog, fire, smoke, no time for the sappy hugging crap, this is KISS!!! The avatar stuff is an entire whole thing, as a KISS fan for well over 40 years its not for me, but there are newer younger fans that is going to eat this up, let them have it. After watching KISS live for 20+ shows over the years a CGI group is not it, I have seen, experienced the real deal many times but the opportunity will be there. and you are 100% right KISS needs to go away for a bit, and we will have it as it will be 3 years before whatever they come up with will actually start. I sort have wished after the disappearing into the fog would have been it, then toss up some KISS video montage and do the avatar stuff some other time. Awesome discussion.... EDIT.... The gold ticket issue was a thank you from KISS and some were never going to get it as it was a limited "gift". I take this as the same that MLB, NBA does with hat, tshirt, bobbleheads they only give away usually like 10K out of 30K attending, first come first serve and it is what it is. I LOVE that KISS online is selling them as I was there on night 2 EARLY, we were some of the first in the building and got to the merch stand so early and they were out of the MSG lithographs, tshirts!! WTF! I was lucky enough to be at the right spot at the right time for the gold ticket and to sell them less then the PPV cost would have been even more of an issue....
People need to get over their fantasies and illusions. Ace and Peter deserve nothing. They quit on the band twice. They deserve nothing. The things they have said about Paul and Gene. They deserve nothing.

@@annex4398 I agree that Paul is a hypocrite and has as much soul as an ambulance, chasing lawyer. Over the past 12 to 15 years I’ve come to really detest him in his arrogance and his pettiness. He’s not somebody I would want to know. However, he owes you absolutely nothing. it is no secret that he has been lip-synching and faking his audiences for the past two or three tours. If people decide that that’s good enough for them, God bless them. If people want to go in here, the same set list that they’ve been hearing the past 20 years, good for them. It’s not for me and that’s why I haven’t seen them since 2004.
Well, you may be right that Ace and Peter, especially deserve “nothing“ from Paul and Gene, Paul has made it his mission to be a bully, a punk, and just a nasty, petty human being when it comes to Peter. Whatever Peter may have done in the 90s or the 70s, since his retirement from the band, he hasn’t said a word against anybody. However, even while he was fighting his cancer, Paul never wished him well, got on his kiss pulpit and bullied them, and just kept repeating and hammering, the same stuff that he’s been hammering Peter on since the beginning. And he did it because he could. That’s not a man, not Neidel, not someone to look up to. That’s an insecure bitch.
Avatars look like Kiss for Kindergarteners! Plus They look Horrible. Kiss looked better when they took off the Make up compared to this early 90’s PC game Version of Avatars LOL. KISS needs to scrap that Crap apologize to the Fans for the crappy last end of the rd Show . And End it Right . What a Disappointment for such a Band as Kiss Was. I guess it was just about Paul n Gene finishing. Zzzzzzz
