I can only imagine the nightmare of getting all of those orders together and keeping them stored and keeping them straight and getting it done on time! I’ve done foodservice and I’ve done my own bake from home business, but never that volume in a space like that.

im in shock with the prices before you bought the bakery. i worked at starbucks in 2004/2005 and if i remember correctly, you’re right, drinks were around $5 and the cinnamon coffee cake (closest thing to crumb cake) was $1.99. that’s a mass produced item too, not something made locally from a small business like your old bakery. even then im not comparing apples to apples because crumb buns are a yeast dough and cinnamon cakes aren’t. that old man did you dirty 😡
