Here we finish up putting our barrel and bushing into the slide. We discuss ways to fit an oversize bushing by hand and machine, fitting points on the 1911 barrel and the importance of getting a good fit.

your right thor and also overcoming flinch (not anticipating recoil) best trigger out there will not help if you do not overcome it..

Great content. Can you help me understand something: if the bushing and slide + bushing and barrel are 100% fit (as they are in your video). How can the barrel "drop" out of battery. Shouldn't somewhere be a "loose" thing to permit this shallow angle drop of the barrel?

Not sure if ya know brother but the focus isn't on the bushing, seems like it's on your toolstock taking the bushing just out of focus... (Good vid otherwise)

Once you get your bushing to the point where you can just get it to turn where it should be with a light turn of the bushing wrench why dont you hand lap it in with compound.
