Part one of the second day of my motorcycle tour from Caen to Bilbao via the Pyrenees and the Cantabrian mountains. In the first part of day two, we travel from Saint Gaultier to Bort-les-Orgues through some lovely French towns and villages. Join me and my trusty BMW R1250RT for some of the ride! 😊

I have a 2015 R1200RT which I just bought with 61,000 miles (looks new, and runs like new) I absolutely love it, I'm selling my 2018 Goldwing DCT and keeping this one, next will be a R1250RT or 1300 when it comes out. Just a comment: As a 67 year old rider, whose two sons don't ride, I love the fact your riding with your dad, but disappointed you haven't introduced him at all in the videos, and maybe a comment or two from him. Food for thought.

I don't think my Dad would have wanted to be featured in the video - this was a learning trip for me from a video perspective, and I did my best to not let that interfere too much with the ride and experience for Dad. Maybe in a future trip...

Great trip through the French countryside! I noticed that both times when you stalled the bike and captured it on video, you were in 2nd gear. Maybe switch to 1st when doing slow maneuvers?

Eagle eyes! 😁 In fairness my clutch control is usually pretty good, but when I’m trying to juggle talking on camera with route finding I guess my brain abdicates responsibility for correct gear choice!! 😂
