Happy Black History Month!
Officially the last episode of our first NYC run is here and it's one we're sure will be polarizing for many. In honor of BHM, for the month of February we’ve decided to focus our conversations more around the Health & Wealth aspect of PKP and Black Culture.
Episode 36 will lean heavily into Mindset but also has some components that impact relationships and finances.
Through our initial 35 episodes the conversation has often gotten deep and introspective but for the most part the mood has remained light. This was certainly not always that lol. Things got fairly intense and contentious between PKP & our guest to say the least. However that is to be expected when you have people who are as passionate about our culture and care as much about our growth as the involved parties do.
This week we bring to you Rapper, Activist, Social Media Influencer & often times controversial, ⁠Smart aka The Smart Guy. Being our shortest episode yet, we decided to forego the usual topic structure. This is one you should be able to press play on and hear in one sitting as you take this roller coaster ride with us! lol.

My favorite part of this speech was the poem. He does have bars and it gave more insight to why he may have the mindset he does. Peoples past and upbringing definitely help shape their world view.

He has a very 5 percenter mindset. Kudos to the work he has done. However, he mentioned a key point that his perspective has skewed, "mental manipulation." The greatest wars won are won by the mental skill, not the physical. (Different perspective) The white man's greatest weapon is manipulating the mindset of Black people and, in this instance, the Black man. They've reversed the psychology to condition the Black man mind through this rhetoric that the Black woman is the enemy working for the man... The "man" doesn't have to lift a finger when this is the narrative and viewpoint being instilled in Black men and women. As long as the mental keeps us divided, they will continue to win the "war". How he thinks can continue to perpetuate a movement of oppression and harm in the Black nucleus. Division within has never been successful. Powerful poem... I appreciated his term, generation reparation, the intent of that resonated with me. ✊🏽

Men need to be the complete breadwinner so you can lead the home. You can’t be playing video games while your wife has a job and takes care of the kids. Also black men stop cheating on your partners. God says love your wife more than you love yourself

THIS GUY. This just goes to show that interviewing can be hard and it’s important to do your research on who you’re interviewing. He was just wanting to be listened to. He didn’t want no questions or nothing he was just TALKING! Lmao I know that must be annoying. This is an interview not your podcast. He was just rambling.. I see why it was cut short. He made a few small points but it got drowned out with his rambling. But, keep up the good work and try to look into how people handle how they interview ppl like him. Poem was dope tho.

@@lildezil i don’t even want to ask them to show me cases of kids being able to grasp calculus, im sparing them the loss. And if and when you do try to mention fringe outlier cases (which there are near none of), you will have defeated your own argument. Having stated they are just that, outliers.

Does the seed giver have to carry the baby around for nine months and then deliver a healthy baby risking their own life in the process? Birthing children is 100% fail safe. Women risk their lives to bring life into this world. What does the seed giver do other than give seed? After seed is given, again who carries the baby to deliver at the potential cost of their own lives.

If you invite a guest in your house so he can speak to your Family, then let him speak his mind! Smart is being interviewed because he has a particular knowledge that Peace King wanted Smart to display. Do your homework and stop drinking, trying to kick knowledge!
