I traveled this route many times between home (Illinois) and Nova Scotia (summer work permit program for youth). I quickly learned some French, including "Travaux" (LOL)

I go to NB every year and stay in Quebec on the way. I stayed in Monmagany last year and got treated like shit. Im sorry I cant speak french but me and my wife try and can speak a little, Have had to many bad experiences all over Quebec (some good ones too). Going to try Levis again this year. Always have had good experiences there, everyone could at least speak enough english to get through or there was another staff member that speaked perfect english. Plan to stay at the quality inn and eat at scores.

Actually, Tim, Lévis, QC isn't a suburb of Quebec City, but rather a *satellite control city* of Quebec City's metro area. There's a difference between control cities, satellite cities and suburbs. Don't give me wrong.
