Ep. 54 - Midbass speakers in a first generation door, but how?? | 1991 GMC Sonoma ST 

In this episode I'm continuing the audio system instalment. Starting with the wood panels which will act as the mounting base for the speakers.
First generation S-10's/S-15's and Sonoma's don't have any speakers in the doors. Only speakers in the dashboard and optionally in the B-pillar behind the seats/bench.
Using two pairs of Rockford Fosgate T162s, and only the 6,5" drivers. I'm not using the tweeters and crossovers. These are out of the Power range, their best of the best line. Bought these new about 10 years ago used. So I'm not quite sure how old they are, but could easily be 20 years.
I will take my time to tackle this project which means more videos on the subject to come. For sure even more on the rest of the audio system.
You can see how I started with the dashboard speakers, since they will be essential for the tonality and soundstage of the entire system.
