In this episode I'm continuing the audio system installment. Starting with the wood panel which will act as the mounting base for the amplifier and DSP.
I'll start with a cardboard template which I then transfer to the birch wood panel.
First generation S-10's/S-15's and Sonoma's don't have any soundsystem to speak of, so in order to make is sound good and/or loud, you need to put in time and money.
I'll be using a 2005 Rockford Fosgate POWER 1000 25-to-life amplifier to power two pairs of Rockford Fosgate T162s, and a pair of Rockford Fosgate T142s. These are out of the Power range, their best of the best line.
I will take my time to tackle this project which means more videos on the subject to come. For sure even more on the rest of the audio system.
