On Episode #7 of my series #HealthyHalwai where I show you how to make healthy mithais, I am making Chocolate & Walnut Fudge.
You will Need:
-1 cup Vegan Chocolate Chips
-1/2 cup Almond Butter
-1/8 tsp salt
-1/2 cup Roasted Walnuts, chopped
Method:
1) Set up a double boiler. Fill the bottom pot pan upto 3/4th of the way with water and add a heat proof bowl on top to melt the chocolate. Switch on the gas on a low to medium flame.
2) In the heat proof bowl, add the vegan chocolate chips and almond butter to melt together.
3) Once melted, add salt and mix in and then add roasted walnuts and mix it into the melted almond butter and chocolate mixture.
4) In any mould of choice lined with parchment paper, add your chocolate walnut fudge to the mould, garnish with roasted walnuts on top and leave in the freezer to set for 1 hour or in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.
5) De-mould once set and cut into pieces and enjoy!
6) These need to be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
