WHERE MY MOMS AT!? It's the show by the Moms for the Moms. Hosted by everybody's favorite "cool mom" Christina P! Not only the most REAL show for moms, but the most interactive. An open place to admit no one really knows what they're doing.
Christina P starts this episode of WMMA off by discussing child toilet locks, which she has since installed after the previous episode. The main mommy then takes a look at a TikTok of some rambunctious kids at Redlands Skate Park. She discusses Sean Connery's stance on hitting women, LeeAnn Kreischer's beej manual "Sex Tips for Straight Women from a Gay Man," and reveals her five point plan for husband maintenance. She answers some "What Would Christina P Do?" questions, reacts to Michelin "Driving with Kids" stories, and discusses cigarettes with Nadav in the booth. Later in the episode Christina is joined by fellow varsity mom Stefani Schweda Jerard via Zoom to discuss gross boy stuff, sneaky teenage daughters, and using social media to spy on your kids. CP wraps up this episode with some follow-up listener emails regarding her bathroom coffee station, ranch, as well as some #MomHacks.

Haha, I was a Kid in the 80s in Germany and we did the same thing, basically smuggling alcohol to my uncle in Sweden, with us kids pretending to be asleep. I just now realized that the border guys probably did know, but ignored it.

So glad my story made it to the show 🎉 This is one of the few childhood travel stories that I vividly remember. Rolling off the ferry in Dover and then being told to lay down on the backseat to pretend to be asleep and under no circumstances to look up until we’re through. Should have ratted them out 🤣 Crystal forgot my P.S. though. She showed a photo of my dad’s pink Crocs a few episodes back and was truly appalled. I eventually fessed up and showed my mum and dad the clip from the show and now my dad is super proud he was on “American TV” and he’s still wearing those bloody shoes. Next time I visit them I finally have to “misplace” aka throw them away.

@@taylorfausett177 I’ve been following Tom since I saw his Comedy Central Half Hour. So, I guess you could say I’m a little into the YMH world. There are some other parallels in life. I’m a straight Asian guy, married, 41 years old, and have a 3 year old daughter. I guess that puts my daughter between Ellis and Julian in age. Despite being Asian, I grew up in what Christina would call an Eastern Block household. I spent 12 years living in the 818 (SoCal) between 2000 and 2012 and I sometimes get to hear about places with which I’m familiar through the podcast. I now live on the East Coast. I grew up in the same time frame as Tom and Christina so when they talk about early life experiences, I heavily relate. Before COVID, I was the main parent but it’s a little more equal now that we’re at home. My wife's culture combined with our geographical situation and other issues just has the responsibilities more on my side. I drove my daughter to school (pre-2 program at the time), handled all of the grocery shopping, cooked, and in between all of that work from home for a tech company. So, I appreciate a lot of the Mom experiences and humor. I’m even silently in the WMMA FB group. I think I might be more of the exception than the rule, but if you’re trying to get your husband or partner to listen to the podcast, the best is when Christina tells stories about her kids that are relatable and give a chuckle.

You can be masculine without being toxic, the best men are. If you have a man displaying toxic masculinity he needs therapy, but he’ll never go because the the problem with toxic masculinity - it shames men for everything, and in his mind therapy is ‘what women do’. It’s worth understanding how harmful toxic masculinity is to men themselves.

I make my coffee the same, heat the mug 1st, but i heat the cream in the micro for 15 secs with the mug. I hate lukewarm coffee and even keep my SS carafe with the remaining coffee pot contents with me so that i can routinely top off with piping hot liquid to warm the cup up. This is 20 years of experience resulting in the perfect morning coffee routine. Cheers Jeans.

My father died from lung cancer after being diagnosed for 16 days, he was only 63 :(. He didn't know he had cancer until he went to the hospital for a lingering cough. He spent the last 2 1/2 weeks of his life in the hospital and died alone because it was after hours and the family was heading there in the morning. Do everyone a favor and stop now.

Nadav: the book and audiobook, "The easy way to stop smoking" by Allen Carr worked for me. It's basically hypnotherapy in short book form. It worked for me and three of my friends. Peace.

I used to listen to her previous podcast "That's Deep Bro" and mommy Tina is just very honest about her feelings and interpretations of what she sees happening in the world around her, framed in the perspective of her own life experiences.

I didn't get my degree but i was still very affected by courses i took at a small State College. It's the experience that matters, not the piece of paper, in developing who we become as adults.

I disagree with Christina about the marriage and children thing. Those are two separate things. You can have kids without being married. The marriage discussion can wait because if you living together and everything in your lives are already intertwined then marriage is just a party with paperwork. The real discussion is about the kids, if you want them then you need to say so and say some specifics like by the time you're X years old. When you start the kid discussion the marriage discussion will probably happen anyway.

The way I think about it and I’ve felt this way for a very long time, but I disagree with siblings ratting on each other it destroys trust and bonds between them, also if my kids are going to sneak out and go somewhere without telling me I’d want at least someone to know just in case they’re in trouble, it’s a lot easier for siblings to communicate with each other than with their parents. And of corse I just want to make sure they’re safe. When you’re so strict with your kids it makes them get sneaky and not want to tell you anything because they don’t want to get in trouble. I know this because my parents were extremely strict on me which resulted into me sneaking out or lying to them saying I was going over to a friends, when in reality I was getting shitfaced I at a party

I don't understand how men say they are so picky when they aren't usually and they let all that happen to their face (usually food in their beards they you told them you don't like but they still have it) their hair, they use 2 dollar soap and have backne. I like Tom admitting he doesn't care. That's the reality if whatever it is is tolerable. It took me two years to just get my bf to grow his hair out because 'he can do whatever he wants'. Still working on no mustache. I'm usually upset that it grows in properly now because it makes them inseparable and me miserable. The mustache is obviously awful. At least I get like zero requests to do things I don't want to do. Most of these things are embarrassing as well which is worse!
