When she went to the hospital, was diagnosed with organ failure, and sent home to pass. However, God had other plans. This is the beginning of the miracle the Lord did for us. In the next episode, the Lord Brings her back from organ failure. She would go on to live an additional 90 days and see so much healing in her personal life and relationships, it was amazing!
~90 days until Brittany goes home. #cancer #jesus #miracle #cancerjourney

Hey Anna! This is Darrin, Brittany's husband. She passed away this January, 2023. These videos are all the vids we made together, but never got a chance to post while she was alive. You'll notice every video has a date attached to it. That is the date the video was taken. Our journey was a long one, but a special one. Right around episode 80, my wife came home from the hospital to die - with organ failure. The next day, she woke up, fully recovered - baffling doctors, completely a miracle - and was able to make amends with her estranged family, and lived for an additional 3 months. After about 4 days of rallying, she began having bowel movements. From there, she was completely awake, aware, in her right mind, and continued trying to fight for her life. During this time she was able to close the gap, forgive and be forgiven by her estranged family. We continued to film, all the way until the cancer finally caught up with her and she went home to meet Jesus. So, there's a ton of episodes, BUT, if you want to see a miracle happen in real time, check out 79 through 82 or 83! It was the most amazing experience I've ever had and one of the most personally affecting. Additionally, I recently changed the name and direction of the channel, so if you want to hear all about that, check out episode 92. It's titled "intro" and delves into what we experienced over those 90ish episodes and what to expect moving forward. I hope you come along for the ride with us! As for your son, I'm so SO sorry! I lost my wife, but I imagine that losing a child would be twice as devastating. My heart goes out to you. I'm praying for you and yours - for peace, comfort and healing among your family. Doing so right now.

I am so sorry for your loss. We too lost our beloved son in 2022 to osteosarcoma. He was 13 years old. My heart is forever broken and I still cry for him every day. The love of a mother. 😔

@@lj3014 thank you 😊 we have good days and bad days 😞 the holidays depress me and we stayed in touch with his friends and they are having kids and our son and your son can’t do any of them that 😭💔 our Emgee was 10 yrs old when he passed away from cancer osteosarcoma horrible disease 🦠 I’m so sorry you had to go through the horrible nightmare 😭 when people bring our son up in conversation I usually hav to walk away because I start crying like a waterfall I will never recover from seeing our son suffer and watched other kids suffer part of my soul died 😭💔

@@annagarza7299Thank you for your kind message. I can relate to everything you are saying. 😔 I am forever changed and yes a big part of you dies. Your family is broken. The only thing keeping me going is knowing I will see him again soon in heaven. He is waiting for us. But life is a struggle and the memories are painful beyond words. Everything has memories that remind you of them. We will never get over the trauma of what they suffered and had to face at such a young age. There are no words to describe that pain and then having to bury your child is almost unbearable. I keep pressing on but I look forward to that day when I can hold him again in my arms and tell him how much I love him. He was my joy.

Thank you, Chris! Lemme give you the "template" - I post this to all newcomers. If you've seen this before, or if you've been here awhile, and I just don't recognize you, please ignore this: This is Darrin, (Brittany's husband) She passed this January this year (2023) from Kidney Cancer. We filmed a lot of videos and Brittany wanted to upload them, and she was able to do so for awhile. But as she got sicker, she wasn't able to post them anymore. By the time she passed away, we were a year and some change behind in videos. So now, it's on me. I'm posting everything we filmed. And there's a lot! And I've got more to go, too! You'll notice on every video I list the date, including the year that the film was taken to help avoid confusion! The one you watched was from 11/19/2022. The story is wild. God shows up in big ways (sneak back to episode 22.5 if you want to hear why I think you should keep watching despite the fact that she's gone) and God shocks EVERYONE in our lives. Brittany wanted to touch lives, and she felt called to do these videos, and would often say if she could touch just 1 life, then it would have all been worth it. I hope you continue watching along with us for the journey! We do, get a miracle... a HUGE one. (Episode 80 and forward) It just wasn't quite what we expected. You've messaged me riiiiight at the point in the story where we see God move in some amazing ways! I hope you continue watching!

I am sorry about what you are going trough. I wish people could see these videos and understand that a body who is actively shutting down cannot longer digest and and perform the normal processes needed to sustain life. I am a hospice nurse, and having to educate family on these issues is very difficult. Actually, you can cause more harm than good when someone is dying. May God give you and your family peace and comfort.

Hey Nora! Thanks for your comment. You're absolutely right. Considering the way everything went down, we weren't told not to give her more food. Actually, that's why the sent her home to die... But she didn't. She woke up - visibly rallying, but when that rallying lasted for a week, and she was eating us out of house and home, and her cognition came back... Well... She lived for 90 more days. Her organs came back online, she totally regained consciousness and became herself again. And that time... well... I hope you keep watching. episodes 80 through 84 or so... it's pretty wild. Oh! Sorry... lemme give you the template! - I post this to all newcomers. My mother was fortunate to be admitted to a hospice facility at the end of her life and I was so fortunate that she was very accepting of her life ending. No more forcing foods or liquids like they tried to do in the hospital. When she had an appetite, she requested a Coke float and the nurses gladly got it for her. I was with her when she transitioned peacefully into her new life. It was so hard but it gave me a sense of peace about dying. Hospice staff are angels on earth and our end of life experience could not have been better. God bless everyone struggling themselves or supporting a loved one during end of life.

Stay strong continue to grieve, and make lots of videos for all of us to help you heal such heartbreak! My brother went thru same journey with his wife and there are lots of similarities! I went to live with my brother and SIL to help with her last 60 days! I wish my brother was able to vlog to help him. It’s been since 2012 and it’s been a tough road for him but with faith and God, he was able to have a new normal. Hugs to you💚🧡

Hi Darrin. Your video came up top in my RU-vid. I want to say that you are incredibly brave to revisit the death of your beloved wife from cancer. Thank you for sharing your experience, which a year on, is clearly still raw to talk about. I've survived aggressive cancer (2018)... i got the all clear June 2023. I look at other cancer vlogs to remind myself that, despite being disabled, I am still incredibly lucky to be alive. I've been ill my whole life, and when I got a rare cancer on my first mammogram, I really thought my borrowed time was finally up (age 48). I'm now 54, but i still have 20 health conditions, and life is really hard. God bless you Darrin. Nothing I can say will ease your pain. However, you are an inspiration. Maybe you could touch base with the POG Family. Josh lost his wife recently. You are both strong. Your wives wouldn't want you to be sad & grieve forever. Take care. All my love ❤ Debs x

When my husband passed, it all happened very quickly. He had cancer but it returned very quickly with a vengeance. They told me he was going to be ok, and I should go home and shower. As soon as I got out of the shower, they called me and said things changed get back here quickly we have to intubate and he will never come out of it. As I walked into the ICU room, it is a memory that haunts me, he was surrounded by dr's and nurses and he looked at me and i could read his lips as he said Is it bad?? I wanted to die, but I walked to the bedside and said no ,you will be fine , they are going to make you comfortable over night. Only time in our marriage I lied to him. Its a horrible memory but kind of beautiful at the same time......I was there with him till the end....Not sure i will ever fully recover. God bless you!!

Hey Kathy! I just wanted to say thank you for sharing that experience. I know we had different things happen to us, but even though Brittany lived another 3 months, this memory STILL hurts me as well. I wanted to believe what I was saying, but I didn't at the time. I think I just wanted to comfort her was much as I could - heck, it was all I could from that one lucid moment she had. I told her when she was awake and alert, and she never blamed me. Never hated me for lying. She just loved me. And I'll never be able to forget that. I'd bet my bottom dollar that your husband would say the same thing.

Kathy.. I nursed my 36 year old son Michael for as long as I could. He had Oesophageal Cancer. It was a relief when he went into Hospice care.. the Hospice are licensed to administer the sort of drugs that your average Hospital aren’t allowed to. All I can say is Thank God..’one of my last memories of Michael is him vomiting blood into a sink and crying “I’m bleeding “ He was so distressed and scared. Immediately he was injected with whatever people get injected with when they’re dying.. within moments he asked me as his mother, he said “mum am I dying?” I said “what have you been told?” He said “ No Mum! Am I dying ?” I replied.. “yes, but not today” Michael died 08/09/2018 x

Thank you, Helen. I'm so sorry about your situation. I will say that me telling Brittany that she was going to survive was me lying to myself. I know that in the moment, it's what I was supposed to say. She was truly scared, and not in her right mind at that moment. I... "knew" that it might be the last moment of awareness she had, and the last moment I would speak to her. I didn't want to lie, but I didn't want her to close her eyes in fear. So, I resolutely told her no - that she would live. I was so scared. But... I was wrong. Her organ failure stopped and she woke up and lived another 3 months. Those months were good for us. I'm not saying what you did was right or wrong. I think in those moments, God speaks to us - gives us the words to say, as impossible as they seem. And I think that when we chose to say the hard thing, I think it's exactly what the other person needs.

Thank you, Fia! I really appreciate it! I will take all the love I can get. I won't lie, these last few weeks have been really tough, preparing and editing these videos together. But, I think the last 8 months I've spent doing it, have given me time to grieve and process and heal. Probably just enough to where I can get through these last few. And... well... If I can't, I know God will just drag me through kicking and screaming the whole way. Because that's what He has to do to us sometimes. Regardless, thank you so much! The support means a LOT to me.

Hey Elizabeth! This is Darrin, (Brittany's husband) She passed this January this year from Kidney Cancer. The one you watched was from 10/15/2022. We do, get a miracle... a HUGE one. It just wasn't quite what we expected. You've messaged me riiiiight at the point in the story where we see God move in some amazing ways! I hope you continue watching! Thank you for the comment and the condolences! They are much appreciated!

Thank you, Jill. She certainly was... but, just so you're aware - this isn't the end. The doctors may have sent her home to pass, but God said, "Nope!" She has a 180 degree deathbed turnaround, wakes up and lives for three more months. I stumbled a bit, but then I started capturing it as it was happening in real time. We talk a lot about the "healing" that we receive... about how it wasn't quite what we expected - She does pass, unfortunately. But in doing so, there is SO much healing that takes place. I'll let the next few videos tell that story, though! I hope you'll continue watching!

Hey Tiffany! Thank you for the prayers! And Thank you so much for the love and care! As this story reaches it's climax, I'm... exhausted. But, God keeps me afloat. Literally, He's been working on me throughout this entire process. By no means am I perfect or even a "good person," but for some reason, He keeps coming back for me, even as I run away. Thats the kind of God we serve. Regardless, this part of the story is where things get amazing! Please keep watching! The story is not over yet. They may have sent Brittany home to pass, but God has other plans!

Darin, just came across your video... so sorry for what you had to deal with. I lost my wife 11 years ago from cancer; found out on a Monday and she died 6 days later, had no time to do hardly say anything as she went into a coma 2 days later. It’s still hard after all this time. I wish I could say it gets better with time but I can’t. Take care and wish you all the best, Bill

Bill, I'm so sorry you had to deal with that. I pray for you and yours, as I know this is hard... still hard. This is episode 80 - she had her miracle in the next couple episodes and went on to live for 3 more months. (She came back from organ failure, and I caught it in camera). Eventually, she did pass, but... this time was super special for my wife and I. A small glimpse of what "no cancer" will be like, once we're done with this world.

Hey Mya!

Thank you, Heather! Just so you're aware, Brittany didn't die. Not after this episode. God gave her a miracle - her organs just... came back online and fully came back into her right mind. After she relearned how to read, she made amends with her estranged family, forgiving and being forgiven. She lived for another 3 months, until the cancer finally caught back up with her, as MD Anderson didn't quite know what to do with us telling them "No, we're not hysterical, we know the difference between rallying and... whatever this is." And... I caught this miracle on camera. Episodes 80-83 and beyond, you can watch her completely recover from organ failure.

Thank you, Joanne. I just tried to remember our vows - that a man should love his wife as Christ loved the church. Sacrificially. I couldn't literally take her place, or take the cancer. But, I made sure that my life, my enjoyment, my comfort were all willing and ready to be ignored if it helped her just a little bit. So, I kept pushing, even when I felt I had nothing left to give. And felt guilty when I couldn't. Brittany always understood, though, so there's some comfort there.

We do, get a miracle... a HUGE one. It just wasn't quite what we expected. You've messaged me riiiiight at the point in the story where we see God move in some amazing ways! I hope you continue watching!

You said it, SV! But... this video documents her return to life. I use those words particularly. We had a 180 degree death bed turnaround. She was only sent home with organ failure - to pass. God said nope. Doctors just shrugged and couldn't explain it. The more faithful ones just smiled and said "praise God." When she came back, we got another three months. And that wasn't even the real miracle! The real miracle was her reuniting and reconciling with an entire branch of her family. Episodes 81-82ish document her "coming back." and beyond that... we just tried to get back to normal life. She doesn't pass until episode 90, when the cancer caught up with her (she was off all meds after coming back. All that's documented and caught on camera!)

Thank you, Margaret!

Hey Murphy, Lana and Cassidy! Thank you so much for the love and care! No worries, I am surrounded by plenty of people who have been supporting me as I've been reposting, and reliving all these events in these videos. As this story reaches it's climax, I'm... exhausted. But, God keeps me afloat. Literally, He's been working on me throughout this entire process. By no means am I perfect or even a "good person," but for some reason, He keeps coming back for me, even as I run away. Thats the kind of God we serve. Regardless, I'm sorry that your heart keeps breaking, but this part of the story is where things get amazing! Please keep watching! The story is not over yet. They may have sent Brittany home to pass, but God has other plans!

@@Beyond_Cancer I tell ya, oncologists, hospice drs/ nurses can really gauge what the body goes through when it's dying with pinpoint accuracy in end stage cancers. What is next in the line of events. Of course not everyone goes through the exact same things but they just about have it down to a science.

I’m sorry. What about hospice care? It offers so much care and help to you. NO person can give you a date when person dies. It never works that way, Never. Please consider this care and remember, food is NOT the answer. It is probably painful. It is natural to want to feed her but it is not helpful in her condition. Remember, hospitals need to be in the business of prolonging life- no matter what the result and condition of the life. I’m sorry that you don’t know this. You did the perfect thing for her now. This is the worst time of your life, I am so sorry. And please, seriously consider hospice care. You won’t be sorry. God bless you for your loving spirit.

Hey There!

Because of his Grace: Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Because of Hope: Romans 15:13 Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

Korey, now that that's out the way, lemme address you personally. On a surface level, I actually agree with you. The horrors of this world and the things that are out there - quite frankly - are much worse than cancer and starvation. They're enough to make anyone doubt the existence of a Creator of a Grand Design. Especially when it's happening right there in front of you, day-in-day-out, so on and so forth. But... in my wife's illness, we saw so many times that weird little momentary miracles happened that just... they spoke to a greater design. A greater story. I've never believed in coincidence, even when I was looking for faiths or religions or even dabbling in agnosticism outside of Christianity. But watching the way these things played out for my wife and I, and watching through the lens of all my years of searching for some meaning in the madness... it would be harder for me (or others) to NOT see God in the things we experienced. Things kept happening that straight up defied logic. Heck, even the doctors could only shrug when she turned around from organ failure. Yes, I identified as Christian before walking through this harrowing story with my wife. But, I can say that the journey has drawn me closer to Him. "But didn't He allow this to happen?" Such questions drive people to the bible every year. Contrary to a lot of popularism, the bible doesn't say that christians are exempt from disaster if they have enough faith. But it does say that our God, Jesus, walked this earth as a man. A perfect man. Experienced the fullness of joy and devastation as a man, and died for our lack of perfection. We have a God who doesn't always spare us the horrors of a fallen world. But we know for a fact that we have a God who walks with us, side by side, as we experience devastation. Who wraps His arms around us, as we morn and hurt. And who can relate to all of it, because He experienced it as a human would. Regardless, I meant what I said. I do hope you stick around for the conclusion of this story. Just a few more videos to post now. I also hope you poke around and watch some of the older episodes. I know there's a lot, so I wouldn't ask anyone to watch them all! In truth, 80 onward has a lot of the good stuff! You can watch my wife literally come back to life from organ failure (believe me, it's as weird to say it aloud, as it is to write it, as it is to imagine someone else reading it)

Thank you, a Little Bit! I really appreciate the suggestion! I will be honest, I haven't been able to watch too much of things like that right now - as I've been consumed by this, lately. Which brings me to the point: I don't recognize your face or your name, so I think you may have stumbled in from the cold. In that case, I have prepared this template for you, as you may have no idea what is going on. But! In case you have been with us for awhile, and already know what's happening, you can disregard the template below: Hey A Little Bit! Just so you're aware, the journey is not over yet! This is Darrin, (Brittany's husband) She passed this January this year from Kidney Cancer. The one you watched was from 10/15/2022. We do, get a miracle... a HUGE one. It just wasn't quite what we expected. Brittany goes home to die in this video, but doesn't die yet. You've messaged me riiiiight at the point in the story where we see God move in some amazing ways! I hope you continue watching!

Hey Elizabeth! I appreciate your respect, I really do! Thank you for it. Everyone is so hard set against each other nowadays so much that it's difficult for people of differing faiths or ideas talk to each other. I've often said in the comments of this channel, that I'm okay with anyone from any background watching this story, because, Brittany wanted as many people as possible watching the story. She wanted them to see what this was like, and what and why Christians believed the way we do. And, it turns out the "story" we got to walk through had some pretty impressive miracles that I've heard from a few doctors say shouldn't be possible. We consider that God's blessings and miracles on full display in this tale. The real miracle was not her organs coming back online and the 180 deathbed turnaround, but the fact that her fractured family is now closer together than they ever could have believed. I have a father-in-law now. It's already more than I could have believed! I appreciate you watching and seeing, and I hope you continue to do so. The journey was strange and weird and full of pain, but also full of love and healing. And that's something that any one of any faith (or none whatsoever) can share in!

but why give sugar to a cancer patient?
@Beyond_Cancer
@Beyond_Cancer 11 месяцев назад
Hey Lori, good question! It's because it's not that simple. You can't survive with a low sugar level. You go into a coma and die. Her sugar was so low at this point that she was slipping into what diabetics call a sugar crash - which can be fatal. Additionally, it's even more complex than just that. Every single thing we eat, is broken down by our bodies into 1 thing - carbs. And when it's there... it becomes sugar. And that sugar is what our bodies use as fuel. The misnomer that "sugar feeds cancer" is a lot more complex than "just stop eating sugar to cure cancer." You can't. Every single thing you eat becomes sugar. Every single thing you eat feeds cancer. Now, there has been research that processed sugar gets absorbed more quickly by tumors that are feeding on our bodies and grow slightly more quickly when the body is not having to break down food into sugar, BUT, the more you look into it, it's not often cancer that kills people - it's malnutrition caused by pain/weakness, then eventually sugar crash into death. It's being unable to eat from cancer that causes more death than the tumors growing and pressing on and obstructing bloodflow. The body can always create more veins to get around restricted bloodflow. But, if there's no sugar to feed it in that bloodflow, it will die. So, the immediate need was to give my wife sugar to get her levels up to hopefully get her away from death. Additionally, I'll give you the "template" - I post this to all newcomers. If you've seen this before, or if you've been here awhile, and I just don't recognize you, please ignore this: This is Darrin, (Brittany's husband) She passed this January this year from Kidney Cancer. Hey Butterfly! Just so you're aware, Brittany didn't die. Not after this episode, anyway. We go to the hospital and they send her home to die because she was in organ failure. Then...
