Artist, Jason ( / jasonatomic ) is a well known face in London’s underground 'freak' subculture scene. His art background originated in creating comics which he now feels may link originally to an experience he had as an 11 year old child, when he came face to face with a small blue non-human being in his bedroom in East Grinstead, West Sussex.
Having researched UFO lore and demonology throughout his life, Jason decided to contact me with his encounter after hearing paranormal researcher, Paul Sinclair on this show, describing his experience of seeing a small creature with ‘elephant-like skin’.
We discuss later experiences, including powerful ritual experiences, his witnessing of anomalous light forms in clouds in Japan, synchronicities around manifesting and we mention Voodoo spirits, Papa Legba and Dhamballa.
🌟 In our bonus episode this time we’ll be looking at the Studham Common encounter in Bedfordshire, in 1967, when five or six children saw a small 3ft blue being during their lunchtime. Plus we'll look at other blue-being encounters 💙

A very Charismatic episode that Flowed so well - I like the Idea of Crow Magic and enjoy listening to their conversations when I’m out in Nature, along with the Light Languages of other Birds - the Being that visited him sound very much like a cross between ET and the Blue Meanies from Yellow Submarine, so Possibly an MKUltra Implant of sorts.. I'm going to try crow magic. I love all corvids....well all birds, but corvids are especially interesting. The frightened old men are on stage and the scenery is collapsing all around them. The more props that fall, the louder they shout and try to carry on. But the audience is leaving the theatre.

In Passport to Magonia, Vallee recounts a figure spotted by children in the Chilterns in the 50s or 60s (don't have the book in front of me right now). The figure was blue, and described as wearing a brimless bowler hat, which sounds similar to this figure. I'll try and find the passage and report back. EDIT: Haha! I see that you refer to this in the show notes! I'll listen to the end...

I was just listening to an Uncanny episode (BBC sounds) about ANOTHER "blue man" apparition, though this one seems to be a haunting rather than... non-human entity (though what the distinction is becomes less clear to me as time goes by...)

@@themodernfairysightingspod8421 I have one more thing to add about "blue". A major component of blue dye is the element cobalt (as in "cobalt blue"). Cobalt is named after the German word kobold, itself sharing an etymology with goblin and coblyn (Welsh version of knockers/knackers). Before cobalt was identified and named by scientists, the [cobalt containing] metal ores that were used to make blue dye were called kobold ores. But why? Wikipedia states this was due to the fact that "they were so named because they were poor in known metals and gave off poisonous arsenic-containing fumes when smelted", but is it a leap to associate them with gnomes/knockers in the mining folklore of the British Isles? An interesting thread to pull on, I think.

I saw a seagull’s conference once - the big ocean type of seagull. It was not like the quiet cat conference described here. It was noisy and boisterous and they were really discussing matters it felt like. Magical.
