Ep #9 The Church and the Tribulation

You have to love these two brothers for even doing a podcast. Though there in time, eschatology is skewed when it comes to the rapture, obviously we are pre-trip, they at least are on here proclaiming the word. So for that, I give them the heads up the only harm, that can come from this is having a perspective on the rapture that is clearly not what the word says about the topic. The earliest church fathers, the apostles, especially Paul clearly lines out that we are pre-trib.

I believe the Wrath of the Lamb is not in the tribulation at all. It is in the 6th seal and 7th seal. According to Matthew 24:29 which mirrors Revelation 6:9-11 (opening of the 6th seal), does not occur until immediately after the 7 year tribulation. I can see the 7th seal with the bowl judgements and the trumpet judgements playing out inside the 6th seal. The Great Tribulation is great because the Antichrist knows his time is short and he then declares war on the saints. Revelation 19:1-10 tells us the martyred saints blood is avenged before the marriage of the Lamb and marriage supper of the Lamb. The marriage then takes place. Revelation 19:9, John is told simply to "write", 'blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb." This is not when the marriage supper takes place. Luke 12:35-37, we see the master represents Jesus in this parable. We also see the He is coming "from" the wedding when He comes for those who are alive and remain. He will sit them down and feed them. Revelation 19:10 we see the voice of the multitude is a spokesperson of the martyred saints who tells John not to bow down to him. He is a fellow brother and servant who holds the testimony of Jesus Christ. The verbiage used in Revelation 6:9-11 is being mirrored in Revelation 19-10. Revelation 7:9-17 are the tribulation martyred saints. The Marriage supper of the Lamb: We see in Revelation 19:17 as it talks about an angel standing in the sun who cries out in a loud voice (this is a shout) to gather together the birds to gather together for the great supper of God. The birds and flesh have two meanings literal flesh for literal birds and the symbolism of those waiting and watching for the master, Jesus to come from the wedding to feed them food. Jesus symbolized His body (flesh) as bread at the Passover meal. Matthew 24:28 "For wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered together." This has double meaning. Genesis 40 demonstrates this as to why the chief bake was put in jail. I believe he allowed servants (represented as birds) to eat bread and pastries from Pharaohs basket and then the birds (literal) ate his flesh. Song of Solomon 4 tells us the Lord will feed us in the Garden of Eden. This is where I believe the door the 10 virgins waited at and then later the foolish virgins returned to and knock and the Lord told them "I do not know you." This door may be where God had an angel guarding the way to the Tree of Life in the midst of the Paradise of God. Genesis 3:24, "So He drove out the man; and He placed cherubim at the east of the garden of Eden, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life." Revelation 2:7, “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God.” Revelation 7:17, " for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.” Song of Solomon 4:15, "A fountain of gardens, A well of living waters, And streams from Lebanon." ; Read all of Song of Solomon 4.
