EP5: Green River Lakes to Peak Lake | Northern Wind River Range High Route 7 Days Backpacking 

Day 5, northern Wind River Range backpacking high route: Today we leave camp at Three Forks Park and begin the long ascent up the Green River Valley. This section of our route overlaps with the Knapsack Col alternate route on the Continental Divide Trail. And sure enough, Katie and I run into my buddy Perry, who is thru-hiking the CDT this year. He joins for the hike up to Vista Pass and Cube Rock Pass. We decide to make this a short day and camp at Peak Lake for the day.
