I live in central ny where those kinds of cabinets are so hard to give away for $100! I see them all the time for $50 or $75 and are listed for a long time and prices dropped 😢 they’re so beautiful and even more so with more detail but around here someone wouldn’t have thought twice about selling it for $100. They’d have helped you load it 😅. It’s just funny how different areas have different wants so things sell way different

I was thinking the same thing! They knew that you would value the cabinet, which is why they sold it to you. It will be used for the purpose it was made and not bodged to become a shelving unit somewhere! Love the video!❤

2:01 Not just men have all of that stuff. Anybody in I.T. And/or videography (Yes and Yes for me) has a mountain of cords/wires, etc. Now you have me thinking…🤔….I could make a lot more room in my house if I didn’t have it all. It’s not like I’m ever going to use it.

16:10 OMG! Fridge boxes. When I was growing up there must have been a lot of neighbors getting new major appliances because I remember being so happy we got a new box. We would get in the box and just roll it and roll it. The winter idea is great.

Ref Electric Cars: Try to hold out as long as you can so you can skip over getting one and go straight to a fusion powered car! They would run on water! I think I was behind one made by Ford the other day. It said Ford Fusion on it!

They still have chimney sweeps, in fact I have a female chimney sweep that sweeps it once a year. In fact, it was her mother that was my chimney sweeper, but her daughter took it over. I also live in England and they’re still quite prominent over here. It’s quite fascinating to watch, when they shove the different sized brushes up your chimney. Love the ornate tin box of nails, absolutely gorgeous and the paintings. Great prices for them! Absolutely loved the antique cabinet, fantastic find! I would’ve done the same thing and just oiled it up!

Loved the red tin because I live not too far from Halifax U.K. ( I used to work there and still go there for shopping) I had never heard of Riley’s so did a bit of research. Love finding items making there way so far away to be loved again 🙂

It's interesting reading about the Gruschwitz history. That box evidently had 3 compartments, and because it had a key, the thread inside must have been expensive. I think that box is too decorative to have held technical threads listed in the website, and the cloth held inside must have been as premium as the label says!---I loved that final music!
