Tour across the roman city of Ephesus at the 2nd century. A brief description of the city and its main buildings, which serves as a guided tour and first contact with this archaeological destination, using the VirTimePlace app.
I was there in summer 2022 and couldn’t of imagined that the ruins I was looking at was actually such a great city. I recognize the library, the theatre and so much more. This animation makes so much sense. I can’t thank the creators of this animation enough for enlightening me as to what I actually saw in person. Thank you.
Same here, I just came back from Ephesus last week, the Ephesus was amazing. I recognize the library which I took many pictures with, and also the steep, slippery theaters. Ephesus was big city back then. Wish I was born in those days so I could experience how it was like.

Accordingly to Wikipedia, Gaius Memmius (born c. 70 BC) was a Roman senator who was appointed suffect consul in 34 BC but we cannot give you further information. Thanks for your inquiry.

@@volt9903 Indeed, it was founded by greek people (watch the video, please), and now it's turkish, but this video is not about countries, it's about a city in a special period, and in this period it was ruled by the roman empire, in the same way than Greece, Spain, France, etc. Don't get mad at us. It's just History. 😉
What kind of meeting of east and west are you talking about are you crazy? Ephesus was a 100 % greek city with 100 % greek architect and culture for god's sake!
