Their products look great, but price over spot is ridiculous. Personally I could not justify buying that far above spot, but to each their own. As long as you are happy that's all that matters.
Very nice unboxing SS! Your hitting 2016 strong! Give or take roughly 500oz in the first month? Amazing! I can't wait for your release coming up! Congrats brother!
You're like a kid at Christmas my friend! I love watching you open everything with your boyish enthusiasm, its infectious!! Thank you for the mini shout out and I will definitely be checking out Lady Liberty round for posterity. ;-) A new stacker +SilverDude177 unboxed one today or yesterday. I will need to check out their site. One of those bars looks like +HiHo Silver's which I love too. Enjoy your new silver!
+LadyLibertyStacker Thank you my friend :) Yeah I even said in the video I feel like a kid at Christmas lol. Yup I am subscribed to Silverdude and saw that.
ha ha wow! I prefer poured silver too. I've had my eye on MK Barz for awhile, maybe now would be a good time and look into the 10% off offer. Thanks for passing along the savings. Enjoy!
nMw that's beautiful. I like the Liberty coins the grenades but expecially the skull. I think I like their scull better then YPS! The rustic look is just classic.
I hope when you sell them (if you ever do) you get spot price. In my experience my LCS wouldn't give me spot price if it wasn't recognized. I asked why and they said people don't buy this silver. They stick to ASE and other recognizable silver. This would stay in their shop for a long time. To tell you the truth I wouldn't buy these because I don't know the company and don't know how authentic they are. I myself will stick to government minted and well known company that make bars. Just my humble opinion from collecting, stacking and selling precious metals for over several years. But congrats on purchase, spend your fiat money on what makes you happy.
+chromeboy702 Thanks and yeah I really enjoy this type of silver. I would NEVER sell this type of silver to an LCS because of the exact reason you stated. It need to be sold to other people wanting it, like on eBay. You can really limit your eBay fees down to 4.8% when you have an eBay store so it's not too bad selling on there. I actually did a whole video on it if you are interested: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Y39Ee4xLCKA.html
You are the king of poured silver bro. Really digging on those mk bars and grenades man. Have you seen that poured silver maple leaf at Ampex store? It looks awesome.
Apparently they like to take care of those that like to put many 0's on the checkout.I certainly would to hang on to a good customer and perfect advertizing for them to boot.Really nice hand work and great imagination methinks. This community are a damn feel good thing as less as the feds want to get their sticky fingers involved ?
Thats an awesome pick up. Thanks for sharing and giving a good chance to get a good look at the pieces. I really like the 3oz flats buttons and the 5oz long bar. might get some of those.
+sander bakker LOL, she's good with it because I discuss it with her a bunch. I don't talk to anyone else about my silver in person, so she gets to hear it all lol. I have always handled our finances and she trusts my judgement. Plus this money comes mostly from my other investments I did (rental properties) and not from the money we make working.
+John Ferguson Thanks John, and yeah it really sucks that all you UK stackers can't get this kind of silver very easily. I would think someone would get the hint and start doing it in the UK. Seems to be quite a bit of demand. At least from my UK viewers!
Those really square rough bars are STUNNERS!! And yeah its about what YOU like Slacker, did anyone pay for any of that? I thought so, lol. So screw the ne sayers Champ!!
Love it..!! Love these massive unboxings, at least for my budget.. I do like the square and rectangle bars, along with those grenades more though.. I also love those .50 cal rounds which are maybe 10 ozs from a previous video you made..?? Love those too..
Wow that stuff is unreal. Love poured silver it's like you said all unique. The link you have is silverslaker1. You might want to correct it buddy if it silver slacker10. Take care have a good day
+11robert11 Thanks, yeah I was really impressed with it. I had to change the coupon code because the first code was used up really quick (I didn't know there was a limit)! The new code SilverSlacker1 is unlimited and expires 3/1/16.
Wow! Epic is right! Whoah! I think I like the buttons the best, though they may be plain. Like the look of them. The wolf is cool too, So many nice pieces here. The antiquing is cool! Thanks for sharing!!
I usually don't like poured silver, but those antiqued 4oz rough bars are aweseom. I wish the grenade was a full 3 dimensional replica, not just half a grenade segment - I'd buy that in flash.
Amazing stuff as always, and it appears you collect more than stack. It would be very hard to get what you paid for these amazing pieces of art, I believe it would be hard to even get melt for a lot of this. I'm actually overwhelmed just watching! ASE silver for me all day, also love the British and Perth mint stuff. If silver shoots off the charts, you will be a rich man.
First treasure chest was neat but the second treasure chest was WOW. I really like those raptor claws and the Lady Liberty. Nice haul to say the least!
Everytime I watch one of your videos I wonder what you do for a living ? or is that just income from your rental properties I think I remember you saying something about that in a previous video. Anyways very nice as usual, I'll be sure to check them out.
+PowerinMetals Yeah it is pretty much the income I get from my rental properties. I did a video on it a couple years ago: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-si8VW3Vt9Ko.html
+Silver Slacker FYI, I just found out that several dealers in my area are pretty upset with MK Barz. They claim that MK Barz contacted Mutiny Metals mold maker and requested similar molds of EVERYTHING that they order. And they meant everything! I guess that explains the similarities in their products. They also claim that MK Barz made their logo similar to Mutiny Metals. If this is true, I find it very disappointing and I will not patronize them in any way. Hopefully, this isn't the case.
+TooMuch RU-vid They make their own molds with a C&C machine like many larger companies like YPS. So it can't be the molds. If you are talking about stamps, I don't really see any stamps that are like Mutiny Metals. I guess you could say some of their pirate stamps, but Prospector Gold and Gems had a similar stamp before Mutiny Metals. So many companies have used the skull and crossbones before when it has come to silver stuff.
Silver Slacker You're absolutely right. It must have been the stamps and I misquoted. Regardless, to contact the stamp maker and request an order similar to everything that they make for Mutiny seems very unethical. It's one thing to produce an item or two similar to that of another company, but to request "everything" seems almost fraudulent. As I stated earlier, hopefully this is not the case.
+Silver Slacker yup. Import duty 3%, transaction fee and 20% tax. Crazy! So I'll order to a friend and stick it in a suitcase!! Apmex, jm, YPS are something we need over here.
are you married? whats youre wife think of buying silver? Mine is "on the fence" and sometimes think im "crazy" What can i expalin to her of WHY we do what we do
+The Satyr LOL, yeah I am married :) She is very supportive because I handle all the finances and I have done a great job on getting us to a point where we can save this kind of money in silver. Everyone is different so I'm not sure what is best to tell yours to convince her. My guess would be to see if she is interested in learning more about it so she also feels comfortable. Just share with her why you think now is a good time to be buying silver.
Historically, I have a tendency to blow my checks on stupid crap. I just explained to my wife that this is a good way for me to blow all of my money and save it at the same time. She agreed.
yeah I had to pull off the road and keep watching. I have 2 mkbarz 3 oz poured skull bones rounds. They are really nice. great video. spectacular, thumbs up
I just bought 10 of the 1oz kit-kat Skull and Crossbone bars because of this video. Got them from APMEX because they were substantially cheaper ($30, or $3.00 per oz) than the MK Barz website, including the discount. I was going to get that really skinny 5oz kit-kat too, but I couldn't find it on the official website or APMEX, only a fatter version. Great Video and amazing silver bars.
+andrewshooter Thanks Andrew! Yeah that is why I said in the video to shop around for the best price because I knew some pieces were cheaper at Apmex or Provident. I was surprised at the 5 oz kitkat also. I think it was poured in their 10 oz mold. If you want one, you may want to just message them.
Awesome, SS did it again. Thanks for sharing and they are very adorable.. Unfortunately here in Germany we have to pay 19%VAT for buying Silver-Bars when bought from Dealers.. Coins comes with 7% VAT... this is the reason why the 1 Kilo Silver Coins becomes so popular here. ..eg. Lunar, Kookabura, Koala or Noah´s Ark. I suggest you to take a look on that 5 Kilo Noah´s Ark... what a mighty coin !
That is why I said it is good to shop around. You can find them cheaper: www.apmex.com/product/94898/1-kilo-silver-mk-barz-bullion-3d-skull Still about $5 over spot, but you get what you pay for.
I will never understand paying $29 for one ounce of silver, yes they are cool I get it but you can find REALLY REALLY nice silver for just a bit over spot. I want the most silver for my money.
Your not boring., nice that your taking advantage of the low silver spot price,. I love this stuff,. I personally wouldn't buy silver in this form if spot was at 30,. but at current spot I absolutely would,. Thanks for sharing!!
Silver slacker you're awesome dude nice stack bro man I wish I can afford one of them pieces I am very Poor . People like me are peasants lol just joking awesome pieces bro and keep it coming.
Question : i have tried to sell some poured silver bullion before. No one would buy them. There are 4 coin shops in my area. Looking for your response. Thank you ..... Guy
I did a video on that Guy. Here it is: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Y39Ee4xLCKA.html Basically for any kind of silver that has a premium on it like poured silver you will have to sell it on eBay. Coin shops are not good places to sell any silver that carries a premium because they normally just offer spot price or under spot price for most things.
I saw a few things in there that are really cool, (lookin' at you, Kit Kat barz) but I've got to be disciplined until I reach my total oz. goals. Hopefully silver prices will still be reasonable once I hit my totals and I can get some of these higher premium artsy-fartsy items. Thanks for sharing.
+Silver Diva Thanks SD :) Yeah there was a lot of cool things they were offering and I had a hard time narrowing it down so it ended up being a large order lol :)
+Silver Diva Thanks SD :) Yeah there was a lot of cool things they were offering and I had a hard time narrowing it down so it ended up being a large order lol :)
How the hell can you afford these huge halls of silver? Love the bars, but truly amazed at your purchasing power. Are they looking for anyone where you work? Ha, ha, ha.
LOL well I work for myself, so no hiring :) I can afford so much because I have no debt and live WELL below my means. I also own rental properties and most of them are now paid off. I did a video on that if interested: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-si8VW3Vt9Ko.html
Love your videos and love all the different unique silver pieces. Your enthusiasm for each individual piece is genuine and goes beyond just simply stacking silver! Keep up the cool videos!
+John Dicker Great job on stacking John, that is a lot of silver! We all stack at different rates and you already have more silver than 99.999% of the rest of the population!
You are actually spending 10s of thousands of dollars on this silver in all your vids.. Actually so much one cant help to wonder what you do for a living...
+pkbjorn35 I am self employed in the real estate market. But the money I get to buy silver I get from my personal rental properties that I own. It is the free cash flow I get from them since I have most of them all paid off now. I have done a video on it about 3 years ago if you are interested: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-si8VW3Vt9Ko.html
I am all up for neat cool pieces but i don't know if could pay $140 for a 5 oz poured item when you can pay an extra 10-$20 dollars for a 10 oz item. That's double the amount of silver for not much more. Neat pieces indeed but too rich for my blood. either way thumbs up i like the video and thanks for sharing.
+SilverHunter2013 Thanks, and yeah that makes total sense! The prices are a little cheaper on Apmex and Provident that is why I said check all sites for the best price on different items. It all depends on what you want. They have some 5 oz for around $100. But yeah I can completely understand buying silver that is much closer to spot so you get more. It all depends on your goals and plans for your silver in the future.
I like cool designs and stuff but in the end silver is still just silver. I can't justify spending the huge premium these places charge for this stuff. Once in a while I can see buying a cool piece as a gift or maybe buying something that connects to a certain area of interest but I would never buy a lot of this stuff. Some people do I suppose.
+Unknown User That makes complete sense to me! It all comes down to why you stack and your goals are in stacking. You can never go wrong with just getting the lowest premium silver available especially the lower the spot price goes.
+Silver Slacker I only have two hand poured pieces. One of Hihos rounds, 148g and a YPS 1oz eagle head. I keep them on my desk to fondle. The rest is constitutional silver and the cheapest legit 10 ounce bar I can find each payday.
