Thanks Ronin! Hopefully people recognize my buying strategies: 1. Large kilo & 100oz coins/bars are some of the lowest premium silver you can buy. 2. When you do purchase higher premium silver like the ASE buy in bulk to get the lowest premiums which is why I purchased 100 of them in one shot. 3. Look for unique products like the horse privy maples which I quickly recognized people would want and now you can't find them. 4. Look for special deals. I visit PM websites often and every so often they will have specials on products like 1oz bars, that's the time to buy

While I appreciate APMEX's variety and quality of products and their excellent service I must caution often times they are not the best value. I regret not doing my research with my last order with them because I would have gotten a much better deal for some of the same products from other PM resellers. I heard JMbullion.com is a really great place to purchase stuff from. I see tons of videos from them and testimonies. I want to buy something from them. The unboxing videos are fun to watch. Lately ive been getting paranoid of investing into silver because of all the fakes floating around. Being new, this stuff will make you nervous no matter how many videos you watch about how to tell if silver is fake. But of course, im not going to let that stop me lol

SoCalFreelance Cheers mate. So looks like you're paying about $19.50 per ounce on the 1kg Kook/Goat, vs $20.40 per ounce on eagle. Obviously that makes perfect sense given you'd expect to pay more premium on 32 separate pieces vs one big piece. It's similar to what I'm seeing as a price difference now as well. I guess the big question for me is, in 10 years time won't the eagles still just be worth their silver price + a couple of bucks over spot? Whereas the kilos you get for $0.90 cheaper an ounce initially and potentially get a much bigger premium for the collector value further down the line if lucky (and if not, meh cheaper silver)? I'm asking for my own insight being relatively new to this (just hitting 40 oz lol) - Appreciate it doesn't really matter when you're covered by literally buying all the options! Still can't get over that sick order dude :)

Edward Kostreski Hey Ed, appreciate the input. My stacking strategy is certainly open to change, after all I've only been stacking for less than a year. For now I think I'm going to stick with trusted recognizable products from established mints. I feel this gives me an advantage if/when I sell.

SoCalFreelance yea for example silver eagles are 3.19 over spot on APMEX when silver is less than $15 but they will be lik 0.99 over spot when silver goes back to 30

For the 2014 Australia 1 kilo Silver Lunar Horse difficult to say as there are not too many on the market. If I had to guess I would say $600 - $700. For the 1 kilo Kookaburra it would depend on the year. Generally, the older the coin the more expensive it is.

@@micomarinas2753 Sure, the source I use to find the spot price for a kilo of gold is silverprice.org Scroll down to the middle and you'll see a chart where you can see the current price for a kilo and 1oz of gold and silver. Of course the price you pay will be slightly more than the spot price. So right now a kilo of gold is $42,156 USD.

I would only recommend purchasing bullion products from reputable dealers. Never from ebay and certainly never from Tor sites. The security features are one of several things that counterfeiters rarely get right so their mistakes stand out right away to an experienced collector like myself. Plus those features (unique serial number, unique finish, reeded edge, pattern on the back) makes counterfeiting them more difficult.

My future self will thank me for the savings I do now.
