MY X-MAXX IS STILL THE MASTER OUT OF ALL THE RC CAR'S I HAVE. I HOOK IT UP TO A BIG FOLDING BEACH WAGON, AND GIVE MY GRAND DAUGHTER RIDE'S AROUND THE NEIGHBORHOOD. SHE LOVE'S IT. WE'VE GOTTEN PRETTY WELL KNOWN. PEOPLE WAVE TO US. THEY STOP, AND TALK TO US, AND ONCE IN A WHILE THEY STOP US TO GIVE US SNACK'S, AND DRINK'S. IT'S A GREAT HOBBY. MY GRAND DAUGHTER LOVE'S IT. I JUST HOPE SHE STAY'S WITH IT WHEN SHE GET'S OLDER. I'VE BEEN BUILDING R/C CAR'S FOR 60 YEAR'S NOW. I BUILD MY FIRST RC TRUCK WHEN I WAS 10, AND I NEVER LOOKED BACK.
@@pat5462pn YEAH IT SEEM'S LIKE IT. SOME OF MY FRIEND'S HAVE ASKED ME WHY MY X-MAXX SEEM'S TO BE ALOT TOUGHER. I JUST TELL THEM. IT'S LIKE ANY OTHER R/C CAR. NO R/C CAR WILL EVER BE 100 PERCENT BRAKE PROOF, SO YOU HAVE TO BASICALLY EDUCATE YOUR SELF. TINKER AROUND, AND LEARN WHERE THE WEAK SPOT'S ARE, AND DO YOUR BEST TO MODIFY YOUR CAR TO MAKE IT A LITTLE TOUGHER. AFTER 60 YEAR'S OF BUILDING R/C CAR'S. I'M STILL USED TO BUILDING FROM SCRATCH, SO WHAT I DO WITH EVERY CAR I BUY. I LITERALLY TAKE IT COMPLETELY APART, AND RE BUILD IT, SO THAT WAY I KNOW EVERY WEAK, AND STRONG PART OF THE CAR. THE PROBLEM WITH THESE YOUNG BUCK'S NOW A DAY'S IS THE LACK OF PATIENCE. EVEN MY FRIEND'S DON'T LISTEN TO ME, AND THEY WONDER WHY SOME TIME'S THEIR CAR FAIL'S IN SOME WAY 5 MINUTE'S OUT OF THE BOX. HERE'S A GREAT TIP I LEARNED 59 YEAR'S, 11 MONTH'S, 31 DAY'S, AND 23 HOUR'S AGO. LOKTITE "DOES" WORK ON PLASTIC. NOT JUST ON METAL. THE BEST LOKTITE FOR PLASTIC IS "LOKTITE BRAND 242". WHEN I USE IT ON PLASTIC. IT DOESN'T SEEM TO DRY ROCK HARD. IT DRIES SEMI SOFT. KIND OF LIKE THE PLASTIC LOCK WASHER IN A NUT. I KNOW IT SOUND'S REALLY CRAZY. BUT IT WORK'S. IF PEOPLE WOULD JUST SIT AND THINK, AND STUDY THE CAR THEY JUST BAUGHT, INSTEAD OF GOING BASHING, AND TESTING THE CAR'S LIMIT'S IMMEDIATELY UPON RECEIVING IT. THEY WOULD SAVE THEMSELVES A HUGE HEAD ACHE. TRY IT JUST ONCE. BE PATIENT WITH YOUR NEXT R/C CAR. DO IT THE OLD SCHOOL WAY. TAKE IT APART, AND AS YOU REBUILD IT. PUT THREAD LOCK ON EVERY SCREW, NUT AND BOLT. FIGURE OUT WHAT ELSE YOU CAN DO TO MAKE YOUR CAR TOUGHER. YOU'LL BE ALOT HAPPIER. SOME TIME'S I LIKE WORKING ON MY R/C CAR'S MORE THAN PLAYING WITH THEM. SORRY ABOUT THE NOVEL. AFTER 60 YEAR'S OF THIS. SOME TIME'S I JUST CAN'T SHUT UP. I HOPE SOMETHING IN HERE HELP'S SOME ONE. EVEN IF IT'S JUST A LITTLE. TAKE CARE. BE SAFE.
That was another awesome video. Great job on shooting that video but an even better job on making the best RC trucks out there. I have 8 Traxxas trucks and 2 are Xmaxx. 1 for me and the other for my son's to rip around. Thanks for helping make great moments and memories for our family and others.
Yea traxxas hired a top of the line video maker & editor. Great video. Great ramps & location. That took a lot of hard work too. Assuming about 100 takes & a dozen trucks to make it. Well done. Who seeing this doesn't want to go out & get one?
definitely makes it more predictable when the ramps are perfect. But no rules against making your own jumps, you can make them as perfectly sculpted as you want XD
@Traxxas 👍 Xmaxx is my favorite truck 💪 a do-it-all beast with some upgrades depending on the chosen practice and a ton of fun every session to tame this monster truck 🤩👍 Are you going to give us an update for our 8S ESC d'acquisition Xmaxx 8S année 2020 To 2022 ? Like the latest version on the XRT. The video is awesome bravo Team @Traxxas 🤘, enjoy
This is an out of this world video! ❤ This track sounds like the song, "It's Going Down Undefeated" by Devin Hoffman, Richard Vegas, & Jessica Easley. I'm not really sure what song that is.
i’ll never watch any math and spelling test again because I’m not gonna do math anymore because I’m going to have no idea what I’m supposed be doing in school and I’m
It depends on whether you want more ground clearance for rougher terrain and big jumps (X-Maxx) or more speed and handling (XRT). Each truck provides a unique way to experience 8s power.
We all need a new and upgraded ESC for the xmaxx. Even Traxxas know that the stock xmaxx ESC falls short on its capacity, and they are pushing their customers to incurr in buying a third party brand to be competitive enough in terms of doing stunts.
Stock ESC in this one, plenty of good-time. I've heard its fun to upgrade too...

@@IJumpRC, agreed, and I have witnessed it!... but there are some times when you need to have more power... for example, for back-flipping; better air control...
