Beautiful and Historic Port Gamble, Washington. Situated at the north end of the Hood Canal on the Kitsap Peninsula this history rich mill-town still features the wooden water towers, post office, general store, historic buildings including the Church and the cemetery from the 19th century. Well preserved lands, shorelines and open spaces surround the town and are in the early phases of development into a resort community. A promise to retain the historic feel and architecture is a paramount feature of this project. In this video you'll see aerial views of the development's first steps, but more importantly you'll see the fall foliage and natural beauty that truly is Port Gamble, Washington. Restaurants, live theater, shops, wedding venue and a Museum are also features of this wonderful tourist destination. You'll also be invited to enjoy "Ghost Walks," car shows and numerous holiday celebrations.
(On a side note: I cannot recommend the Butcher & Baker Provisions restaurant highly enough!! Located at the old gas station, it's easy to find and worth the stop! For Dinner, Lunch, Dessert or specialty meats & sauces... it's a really delicious place to eat!)
Enjoy!
