its not a point its a fact.....i dont fight in theory...use points vs points not theory vs points...only dumb ppl do that is what my school teach use to tell me! u know like if a woman is driving with her baby on her lap and someone found out then they argue a bunch of points about (what if ) this happen and what could have happened 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️ becuz reality is "no example they use actual happened " so its pointless at that point
Reminds me of Steven a and Monica Mcnutt situation. How can you not make your point to the person in front of you but you go on a whole nother platform to rant instead?
As a nigga who watches almost every show i gotta keep it 100 you only say “we don’t do hypotheticals that’s fantasy” when someone else uses it to make a point. But i vividly remember y’all having a whole convo on “imagine if AI was 6’6””
Seems to me that he only uses them in examples. What Rashard was saying made sense, but he wasn't realizing Gil was saying they would never switch in that situation. Even though Gil said switch everything, he didn't mean it literally. Only in the situation of said scheme. So to Shards point you wouldn't literally say switch everything which Gil figured most would understand that.
i do solo lives...i continue the viral moment (were great) at what we do! hence why its never personal becuz its hoopers talk....if this was skip and shannon...shannon would have been fired 😂😂 Aint no firing or thinking about it with rashad 😂😂
Gils perspective is based on what the scouting report and analytics says, which is double team on Luka results on a team averaging 67 points, pick n roll on Luka a team average 110 points & switching on Luka = 112 points. Rashaad perspective is on pure hooping and being strategic, which is guard to guard strategy which as traditional starting line up of Celtics consists of 4 guys which are considered guards. There was miscommunication between these guys as one uses analysis and the other uses a strategy, so that is why they could not agree with each other. In a case of Gil’s perspective, his theory on what the Boston Celtics game plan on Luka Doncic should be is 100% correct based on analytics and scouting report. In a case of McCants, his theory is what the Celtics should apply on Luka which is a strategy that is neither proven right or wrong. And that can prove to have an impact on the team, Firstly this a Final you cannot experiment something that you have not been doing for the whole year to do it in a game of this magnitude, Secondly it could work but not right away maybe in the middle of the game or in Game 2, Also depends on the mental aspects of the players. Both are right in their perspective but once again communication proved to be a major concern in this debate.
he plan could work if boston doubles guard to guard which no team doubles guard to guard becuz thats an automatic switch! ghats why when he uses brown as a defender his natural thought was (u switched that) and then he realized what he was saying and it was the correct answer he had to go back to (u must stay doubled) 😂😂😂
i never thought I would be addicted to a Gilbert Arenas podcast in 2024. lmao Yo Gil, try to get more guests in the show. And ofc, Swaggy P should be a regular
Gilbert, Mccants was giving you a counter to your initial statement which was "double Luka no matter what" . It is not fantasy, its called an adjustment, why is that so hard to understand?? You troll Doc Rivers for not making adjustments and Mccants is giving one to your initial statement and you cannot see that, how ironic.
@@MoneyMoney-gc9mi Exactly, so Gilbert basically agreed with Mccants that that "trap him regardless" strategy will not work but bro didnt want to admit he was wrong and retract his initial statement 😂
my initial statement is data so he gave a scenario to that data and i gave a scenario to that move and now he doesnt want to go anywhere then yelled out the same thing (just switch it) and then realized i said switch so go back to his u have to double argument....but the original statement he said (guard to guard ) pick and roll was changed 3 times so he didnt have a counter to the statement (he said guard to guard....where white guards luka and kyrie is suppose to pick) then switched that to (white guards luka and derrick sets the pick so a guy who shots a fantasy 38% from 3 which his % is 31% take shots then he changed that to (now brown guards luka and does a pick and role with is tatum and brown which he then said switch since they the same size...which is correct then he realized what he was saying becuz his argument would be dead he now wants to keep them double teaming 😂😂😂😂😂 created 3-4 fake scenarios then gets stuck when i say (guard to guard) switch 😏
@@NochillGil0 You are basically agreeing with him when you say switch it instead!!!!! In Fact both of you agreed, which makes the initial strategy you proposed not effective but you were too proud to say "I was wrong"
Gil they have done Luka and Kyrie pick and rolls throughout the season you can literally pull the numbers up and kill the argument either way but they have done it plenty at times. You show is meant to be educational and entertaining and you and mccants delivered on that good show. Not always about winning or losing an argument
I've been going back listening to older episodes of G's A, and Mccants regularly moves the same goal post he accuses Gil and whoever else he's "trying" to debate of doing. Listening to the first ep. Pat Bev was on Rashad said he was doing the infamous workout he quit as a favor AND he didn't have to get his roster spot out of the mud like Pat, who was coming from oversees to try to make the team. Rashad basically said he was eating at the time, with the large silver spoon his college résumé had afforded him. So listening to ONE of his lastest arguments about Bronny and how if he had a son, he'd make him fight and claw to earn his stripes and he wouldn't do what Lebron's doing is absolutely contradictory as h*ll. 😂 If he actually believed what he said about Bronny being given opportunities he hasn't worked for , the quitting of the workout, whether caused by Pat or injury, wouldn't have made him leave before it ended. I like Mccants, but he's gimmicky with his t-shirts, hats, glasses and now all the nicknames, he's given himself - those things provide comedy relief, but most of all a distraction when he has no actual/factual point to arguments OR when he wants to be funny and get attention. If you're not actually following the conversation, you end up siding with the person who is making you laugh and entertaining you versus the person who is trying to actually explain their position.
I think a better question to ask here is whats the Mavs counter to Boston trapping Luka? They'll probably go to Lively but if that doesnt work what do they do? 🤔
It’s funny how she missed quoted you while trying to approve you wrong and sounds so intelligent, but she can’t even differentiate and get what you said correct
No Juju isn’t coming because she can’t. You have to spend a certain amount of years in college before you could go pro. Caitlin and Angel are proving you can make money in the WNBA. Are y’all ok?
@@TrojanBOY90 you are correct about the rules, not the money. NIL money is greater than wnba salary. Also, university fans are guaranteed. Wnba fans can be here today gone tomorrow, which is likely. I'm fine, are you ok.
Next week I need you to not debate back or engage with McCants. Just ray you're entitled to your opinion & keep it moving. Just for a week tho cuz it would kill the entertainment value 😂
@NoChilGil10 I understand what you are saying, I just think the wording is wrong. What you are explaining is a prodigy, somebody with incredible abilities at a young age. Prodigies are almost always discovered young. I believe a generational “talent” can be discovered at any age and most likely after they have put in the work because it takes the generation to compare them against others of the same generation and previous generations. Your height and weight have nothing to do with your talent. Lebron, Shaq, Wemby, Tiger etc. were all prodigies. Now they can also be generational talents and that has to be proved over time but that doesn’t exclude a person that had to work to sharpen their talent. You can’t just make Steph out of any 6’2”guy that shoots 1000 shots a day. There has never been a player that has shot from that distance and accuracy in the NBA. That makes him a generational talent…
Gil is a sicko😂 U are great at what you be doing i must admit but all yall be reaching at times but youve mastered it.. 4 mfs could be 6’5 all listed at diff positions and gil will argue u down that they not All guards TECHNICALLY 😂
