The Ewoks are my wife's favorite Star Wars characters! She loves teddy bears in general, so she thought they were cool as a kid. Still likes them. She has a stuffed Wicket from back in the day that we have in her stuffed animal display. We also found a hand painted picture of Wicket at an art show here in Vegas last year that she picked out. I have always liked them too. They make me smile when I watch Return of the Jedi each time. Enjoyed the Ewoks cartoon as well. So well done with the artwork and music in the cartoon. I think I had a Wicket T-shirt back in the day too. I had Wicket and Logray as a kid and still have them. For some strange reason, I never got any others. It was cool that they made so many of them. One of these days, I'll try to get the whole set. I'll be one Ewok closer to that goal when I get the Teebo in the mail from you. Thank you very much for sending him to me! Great that you got such good scores! 85+ and even a few 90's! Not often that figures get a 90 or even a 90+! That Warrick is almost perfect especially. He's as good as he would have been right out of the card blister.
Hey there! Your wife's love for Ewoks is absolutely adorable - who can resist those cuddly teddy bears in a galaxy far, far away? 🐻💫 The stuffed Wicket and the hand-painted picture add such a charming touch to your collection! Wicket and Logray from your childhood are pure nostalgia treasures! And how awesome that Teebo is joining the Ewok squad soon - one step closer to completing the set! 🌟 Glad you enjoyed the scores! Those 90+ ratings are like winning the Galactic Lottery in the world of action figures. Warrick being almost perfect is music to our ears - he's truly standing the test of time! May the Ewok adventure continue, and thanks a ton for your fantastic support
At the time, AFA seemed like a complicated process, so we decided to go with CAS. I also have a few AFA figures being returned, we'll get to those. Fast forward to today, and AFA no longer accepts loose figures for grading. If you have MOC, I recommend AFA over CAS for short-term investment, but CAS protects them better and I also feel displays better. Good question, btw!
My theory is that Ewoks are a hybrid race formed from the uholy marriage of Care Bears and Gremlins. I just thought of that now, but I might use it again someday. (And by that I mean that's the version of Gremlins that ate too late at night!) Still no Jak in the box, only Ewoks. You got me again! I'm sorry about your Chirpa. Hope CAS does right by you. Hope the figure was not damaged. Fortunatley its a very common figure.
