If you accidentally hit the phone and and they answer please tell them it was an accident and nobody needs to come out, elevator phones can also call 911. Elevator phones are not a joke and are serious. Unlike my case, clarkloveselevators, Jamestube8439, NewAgeServerElev, all had similar incidents because of the phone being in such a stupid spot. Jamestube8439 was the only one to have a case on a Schindler elevator.

Yeah same thing happened to me like you said in the description. But it's all good as long as you correct your mistake. That goes for everyone out there, if you accidentally press the emergency phone, talk to them and explain what happened.

THIS ALMOST HAPPENED TO ME AT THE TRUMP INTERNATIONAL HOTEL AND TOWER before because the telephone button was literally near the door close button

I don't think I have ever pressed the emergency phone button on an elevator by accident, but I think I remember accidentally pressing the alarm button once.

Happened to me too. When I was sending up a glass elevator to watch it go up from the outside, I accidentally hit the phone because it was right above the top floor button.

I’ve done that quite a few times, one time it went to a voicemail and no one answered. A few other times the building security picked up and told them it was the wrong button. I also hit the alarm by mistake a bunch of times.

i have never accidentally done it ever since, i would tell security that i hit the wrong button, often on tk elevators, i have hit the alarm by mistake, but no one came. i never had a voice mail, i had one case where i did not push the button and it gave me the busy tone and then after i stopped the video, it gave me the off-hook tone. i thought it was security but was a telemarketer

They do, they should have moved it to where its above the buttons (Same thing as Schindler HT fixtures). Schindler 3300, 5500, and HT, And the HT Traction elevators are prone to accidental calls (Schindler HT if IT serves 4R (4, rear),

Whatever happened to phones in a separate box? If they wanted it to be more accessible to people with less dexterity, just make the box cover have one of those "push-push" magnetic thingies that entertainment centers and medicine cabinets usually have. Speaking of covers, I think a good product idea that would work for more than just elevators, would be a retrofit-able hinged flap that can stick on with a magnet, velcro, double stick tape or whatever works best for what you're trying to cover up. That way, if you have a button that you find out AFTER the system is designed, that it's prone to false pressing, the building owner can put a cover over said button, that can easily be lifted up when/if you need it for real.

Yes you are correct, so a few minutes after the video was shot, I took a deep breath and everything was fine did not get Busted, none of that happened

What would happen is if anybody did not respond, you would use your cellphone to call 911. FD is usually quick with those.
