As a professional metal finish guy... I do this for a living. I HATED some of the stuff you did. But bro... It turned out amazing. Shoot me an email or reply back and I'll shoot you an email and give you some tips to use some chemistry in your refurbs. Pretty easy stuff, I promise. But it'll make your results ALOT better, and take your handwork down.

As I started reading your comment I was worried 😮, but stoked to hear that you liked the result. I'd love some tips if you could send them to beardplaysgolf@gmail.com

I'm "fixing" a cracked carbon fibre driver head next 😮. That should be entertaining

Some guys (like me) let their wedges rust on purpose so they create more back spin. And I’m sure my handicap would be at least one point worse without the rust 😂

Let's call it patina 😉. I do love a rusty wedge

What has the reasoning behind not using evaporust as a first step?

Pretty simple, I have no idea what evaporust is 😂. But I'm definitely gonna check it out now

As @Krushvitzr said, it was hard to watch some of the processes being done but this was a very impressive transformation

I can make my life harder than it needs to be, but I love getting stuck in and just going for it. Glad you liked the final result. I'm fixing a cracked carbon fibre driver next 😮

Kinda messed upp the impact surface with the milling? You should have showed that side as a finished product as well.

This was definitely an experiment and I didn't love the result of the grooves either. But I'm learning and will do better in the next

I get that. It doesn't always turn out how you expect. Just pointing out that it is nice to see the parts that doesn't succeed as well. Love these restoration videos, thanks man.
