I think it's nice that you post your attempts even when they are unsuccessful, because, yeah, sometimes hypnosis doesn't work. In this case I don't think I would be able to drop neither - and I can drop immediately, easily and very deeply - because the place was way too crowded and noisy! Waiting for new hypno-adventures!

It's always interesting to have these types of crowd hypnosis. Just wondering how to be able to focus on your voice with so much sounds. Love the handshake Induction and the gentle tug into trance.

Its the noise and crowd. If you are on the aspie spectrum the stimulus would certainly get in the way.

I've seen the "handshake" induction a few times, like on Mythbusters and American Pickers. I've read that it works because it's like an abrupt jolt to the signals going to the brain, or something like that.

You seem to be providing little to no pattern interruption during the arm shake/arm pull induction which likely why it failed. I'm not a hypnotist, but that induction needs to have two different things going on at the same time to confuse the volunteer's brain. Isn't it often combined with the butterfly fingers? I wouldn't put failure to launch here down to the external environment.

To be fair I love getting hypnotized in private and I don't think i could do it standing around in a noisy crowd, surrounded by people, outside.
