My condolences on the loss of your grandmother Brendan. Welcome back to the Rockies. I was at Herbert Lake this morning to capture the sunrise. It was a treat watching your video seeing you revisit the places here in my local area which you too know and appreciate so well. Safe travels.

So sorry to hear about your loss, pal. And yes, it is crazy busy at Moraine Lake and Lake Louise these days. So much crazier than the good ol' days twenty years ago. Was there this year during peak season and hiked in to Lake Louise from the village.

I'm so sorry for your loss Brendan! It is great to see you getting out to explore Banff National Park again after quite some time. I remember stopping at Bow Lake a few years ago. It was very brief, but the scenery is absolutely incredible there as well as along the Icefields Parkway. The photos turned out great! This video felt like I was watching a pre-pandemic video which felt great!

Great to see you in Canada Brendan ! I am a teacher from Texas not a photographer. Your videos have always been a great stress relief for years even though I have never taken a photography trip. Take care Brendan and have a wonderful time in Canada.

Sorry to hear about your loss. I do the same recently, just go for a walk whenever I remember my dad. Sadly he passed away in April this year. Thanks for the tips for Canada. Hopefully I will make there in 2022 as my previous 2 trips cancelled due to COVID-19. Great video again 🙂

Good to see you back in Canada, just back from Jasper my new go to place in the rockies . It's a magical place and not as packed as Banff. It has so many good things about it. Lots of 4 footed friends and great vista's . Just a note about the bears at Bow Summit, the resident female who gave birth this spring to two cubs had apparently been killed along with one of her cubs and the other one is perhaps also lost. Her cub from last year also did not survive. Nature is truly beautiful but sometimes it can be less than kind . Kananaskis Goats and Glaciers is great place for Picas (sp).. if you go make sure you get a permit to the park. Great fall color right now. Finally and most importantly, sorry to hear of the loss of your grandmother . Greetings from Red Deer . Stay safe fellow.

The Icefield Parkway is an amazing drive! One of the most scenic in Canada, I think. Mt. Chephren looked great with the alpenglow on it!

Covid immediately drove everyone into the woods. Time to put that 40K travel trailer to use. Craziest time lapse I've seen. So, when the bear goes after your candy bar you can throw a grenade at it. It's nice in the Rockies.

First, sorry for your loss. Second, I planned a trip to Banff in 2019 for 2020. We all know what happened in 2020. So, I cancelled what I could and rescheduled the rest for 2021. In fact, I would have been there now. I try to travel the shoulder seasons, but even the shoulder seasons are getting crowded. As you know the Canadian border just opened to nonessential travel. But, with the resurgence of COVID with the Delta variant, I decided to not go this year. I'll have to reschedule once again. I'll just have to travel vicariously through you. Hope you get some great shots.

Did any of those Lake Louise spectators know who you were? Great photos, bro. My condolences on your grandmother's passing. I hope you got to see her. Did you see any of those pikas' haypiles? That would be the best place to aim for a photo, provided you had the lens for it. Not sure your 100-400 would be enough without an extender.

I cant believe all those people,we went to lake louise in 1970,never saw anyone,landscape photography has gotten a lot harder

We are heading to lake Louis this week. I am not happy the gondola tickets summer season is closed. Although may be a week ago it was still running of I am not mistaken. If we stand close the the fairmont hotel lake Louis . Where we go to see sunrise and sunset. Knowing I had ankle surgery and I can't hike steppe. And cannot walk on rocks.

I slept like 5metres from where you put your tente a few years ago 😂

The increased focus during the pandemic on everyone going to beautiful places in nature, national parks etc is really a double edged sword. It is great that people are getting out and away from their tvs, iPads and the like to enjoy natural beauty but the traffic levels at these spots make them harder to enjoy and I have seen real damage due to the over tourism.
