So looking forward to your upcoming videos - my word I miss the travel (and photography). One of these days they will remove the barriers and hurdles for travel from Australia.
Yes one of these days! Just heard that Mark has lifted the daily quota to 500 odd for WA. So hopefully soon we all will be able to travel “freely” again.
I’m watching this video today, and it’s exactly 2 years to the day that I travelled to Canada and took photos of that building on the waterfront in between the Valleys. Loving the content 👍🏼
Detours can be the worst! Michigan has plenty of construction, so that happens so many times for me here, lol! Despite the fails early on, I'm glad you were able to capture something incredible! Sometimes those unplanned events end up being the most memorable in a good way!
I just love this video. Your joy at the end when everything just comes together, i could feel that. I can so relate with that. Also amazed at how much work needs to go in to get that shot. I felt exhausted seeing u drive :) Again, great video
Dude, there is no such thing as a photography fail! There is photograohy lessons learned, and photography things to think about next time. No fails. Such beautiful scenery.
Beautiful shots specially on the end, thanks for charging! We actually where there the same time when you where at Moraine Lake, and we don’t came home whit a real shot because of the traffic. Luckily we also visited the area before, so we know how you felt about it.
Great video. Love to follow you around the world and at your new home i Portugal. But does the water always have to be so smooth? How about a little motion blur with a shuttertime of like 1/6s or something like that?
There are some very nice views I can recommend of Cathedral and Stephen (summited it a number of years ago - "exciting") from Paget Lookout - have you looked into that? It is hikable in less than an hour. Even better is the south ridge of Mt Carnarvon, but requires more effort.
Love that river & mountain photo you captured after envisioning it years before. Congrats on your new R6. Will you be retiring your RP and using your R for video and your R6 for photos?
Great photo. But what was even greater was the joy that one could see in your face while down at that river :D Was that the Yoho River? I spent a couple of nights at the Whiskey Jack Hostel back in 1997, one of the best views you can get from a hostel verandah.
Thanks for sharing. This brought back to me so many memories of my visits to the Rockies and I also visited a lot of the places that you have shown but back then my love of photography was just beginning so my photos are a bit meh.
lol....when you discussed your dilemma, I thought BvS will wing it, then seconds later you said you were gonna wing it.....guess that what happens when you have been a follower for a long time. Loved that image you took at night, it was a corker and the final one of the mountain was on point too
Luckily your in Canada, there’s a photo around nearly every dam corner 🤩 So failing is not an option Brendan 🤪 Thanks for sharing your successful images 🏆, finally. Stay safe, where ever you are Brendan 🤔 🇦🇺
I think that image worked perfect, lairs from the trees with enough in the frame to see the mountain. With the right lieght it could have been even better
This was a great series, really enjoyed it. My wife and I are booked to come to Canada (Banff/Jasper and then a road trip to Vancouver) End of Sept 22 - what would your top 5 places f(or an enthusiast) to shoot be beyond the obvious classic shots?
The problem is the pandemic and social media caused all the indoor people to go outside. Those of us that have always been outside get annoyed at all the people. A lot of it has to do with social media. Everyone wants the selfie shot and get in the way.
