For the absurd price they want for this thing it better be epic!

does indeed have some nice print quality/surface finish, and cool to see they're getting in on the multi-colour/material game. Little too steep for my wallet though!

I wonder how they will do the auto bed changing. I've seen some printers that use a side box to store glass beds and slide them in. Stratasys has a printer that prints on plastic that's on a roll. The printer would even print job information on the plastic then cut it and advance more plastic for the next job and so on. It was pretty cool.

I think its totally overpriced. At 3400 euros how many prusa mk3 you will get?

Very cool printer and quite the price tag as well. I am building and trying to sell my own 3D printer and I find it difficult to price the machine. On the one hand I want to cram as many features as I can in but then I have to balance keeping the machine affordable and a margin for growth, it is tough.

Amazing print quality. Though, a smart phone interface seems more consumer and prosumer friendly than it would be for commercial use, for me anyways.

I mean, if you run a Prusa at low speed with good material you get just about the same thing. Tuned profiles, solid construction, and high quality filament go a long way.

how would you compare to the artemis from seemecnc ?

Sorry this price for an regular delta-printer, with standard mechanical setup besides a nimble extruder...is that a joke. Sure a camera and a duet board are nice things and they justify a higher price...but within a reasonable range. I'm not quite sure if the printed delta effector or the argument that printsize could be compensated with part orientation is the punchline.

So Joe. Did you ever get your hands on one of these? Is yes, is there a review coming at some point?

Looks nice. But seems overpriced. Joe, you need to get with SeeMeCNC and see about reviewing their Artimus. I love mine.

A couple of question, I asked what slicer your gonna use, and you said S3D which is what I thought you would, you missed my last question which is how is S3D gonna handle heads that are not in use (stand by temp) used in Cura and in Idear maker not in S3D at present.. also not really happy parts were missing, when you think of the time it takes to build this what happens when you find out parts are missing 4 weeks later??? E3D ?? great video though very time consuming...

No idea how I will handle the rest temperature as yet, possibly through a macro in the reprap firmware? As for the parts, mistakes happen, parts will be sent out tomorrow morning and will be here within 24 hours. Gives me a day to print the parts I need anyway :)

Seems slow and pricey. Tilting prints into the Z direction to overcome XY size limitations is a good idea but then the don't the prints become weak with interlayer adhesion compared to XY strength? And lots of support material used and the underside surface is now quite messy with the support attachment points? Perhaps I'm not the target customer

Great little delta, not sure why you would show such a poor quality product like the palette 2 next to your high quality delta....

Multi-material is seen as part of the future for 3D printing, so it makes sense to show it. It's not that bad, though I prefer the MMU2 or dual carriage setups.
