중년 가장 아재입니다. 피곤에 지쳐 가족들 차에 태우고 가다가 이노래를 라디오에서 우연히 듣고 마지막가사에서 부끄럽게도 운전대잡고 서럽게 한동안 울어버렸습니다. 너무 가물가물해서 잡히지도 않는... 인생에서 가장 빛날수있었던 시간들... 이젠 시간도 없고 채력도 없고 오랬동안 함께 해왔던 모든것들이 사람들이 점점 어딘가 고장나가고 멀어져가고 사라져가고... 한동안 우울증을 겪얶지만 가족들의 격려와 배려로 마음 다잡고 이겨냈습니다. 가족들과 함께 다시 꿈을 만들겁니다. 내 아이들은 꿈을 놓치지 않게 할겁니다.

At first I thought it was just another great song from Epik High with a sad title and a cool beat, but reading the captions now, I only realize how hard every word hits me. When I was young I used to dream I would be a writer with worlds in the palm of her hand, but now, I can't even write to save my life. I've forgotten how the words should sound when I string them together, how they should feel. I can only think of trying to finish my studies so I can work as soon as possible to help my family but other than that, I'm lost. Even the bare thought of pursuing my dream scares me now. I wake up, go to class, go home, stare blankly at the work in front of me, struggle to sleep every single night, and before I know it, years have passed. I keep trying to find my way back to the kid who wrote endlessly on every blank page she could find, but it feels like that was a different person back then, and now I'm just a ghost of a person trying to survive. Sometimes I wish I just had normal dreams like most people, so I wouldn't feel as empty as I do now, like there's a part of me missing that I cannot name. This song made me realize how bleak it is, trying to find yourself. Sometimes, I wish I could breathe without feeling like I'm going to choke on the promises I have to keep. Sometimes, I just wish someone would offer me a ride home, no matter how far away it is.

이 노래가 처음 나온 2017년 10월, 나는 신입이었다. 퇴근길 버스안에서 들으면서 참 많은 위로를 받았었다. 그때 귀에 박혔던건 보컬 오혁이 부르는 '젖은 어깨엔 오늘의 무게, 잠시 내려놓고싶어'였다. 그로부터 5년이 지난 지금, 너무도 가고 싶었던 이직 최종 문턱에서 고배를 마시고 불현듯 이 노래를 찾고 또 펑펑 울었다. 이번엔 타블로와 미쓰라가 뱉는 가사 하나하나가 뼈에 사무치듯 슬펐다. '이 넓은 세상에 내 자린 없나' '계산적인 세상이 들이미는 손 잡긴 싫지만 빈손되는게 더 겁이 나'. 5년 후에도 내가 이 일을 계속 하고 있을지는 알 수 없지만 그때도 이 노래는 내게 위로가 되어주리라.

I always listen to this song when im feeling down, but today this song really hits me hard, I only wish to be happy but even that dream seems impossible for me,The lyrics "could you, for a moment stop & give me a lift? I was going to switch the song when RU-vid used AutoPlay and redirected me here. I caught myself reading the lyrics, and stuck a bit longer. Then I wanted to see what they were trying to say here. For every sentence that resonated with me, I stuck to the video a bit longer. I've seen it a few times now. It's not a peppy song, it's relaxed and the lyrics are melancholy. But it strikes a chord in me. The feeling of disillusionment, of frustration, of the hopelessness. This song is about someone laying out their fears and hoping that they can find solace in someone. That they are able to find some way to set aside their worries for a while. I want that too. Having all of my jumbled emotions laid out in a song like this...I'm moved.
