Simon, Imogen, Morgan and Deputy CEO Rebekah Smith explain the importance of knowing how to help someone having a tonic-clonic seizure. All you have to do is CARE: www.epilepsy.org.uk/care
Thank you, this is an excellent video and I totally empathise with Imogen, I get the guilt and the shame etc, especially forgetting the lady’s name, that’s exactly what happens. Thank you for speaking out 💕
This is a fantastic video. Epilepsy sure is something so many people know so little about. I have done several presentations at work & tried to raise awareness on social media to prevent the fear & bullying that takes place. I have uncontrolled temporal lobe epilepsy & experienced all that has been described here. Thank you so much for doing this 💞
Thank you for your courage and inspiration. I’ve lived with epilepsy my whole life and I’ve never even been on vacation for the same fear of something happening like Imogen’s trip to Mexico. There are unfortunately multiple battles to fight when having Epilepsy: 1) dealing with the seizures itself 2) dealing with the symptoms of the seizures 3) dealing with the symptoms of medications 3) dealing with the stigma of having epilepsy 4) dealing with the eventual depression that can cloud your mind dealing with all of the above. And then there’s life itself. 🙄 To Imogen and all epileptics, stay strong 💪.. you are an inspiration. Much love, From Canada.
