I don't work in this space and know nothing of it, but I really appreciated John's knowledge and ability to explain these concepts. It made it interesting even for an electrical engineer.

Great content as always! I found it amusing when he joked about being stuck on the side of the road because of filter differential. I had that Customer, it trips offline, reset the alarm and keep running until it trips again l😅

Rafe, Dr. Duchowski mentioned (at about the 53:20 point of the video) that gas-to-liquids have a certain operating performance that required modifying the filter media to meet that level of performance. I therefore wonder if folks that utilize GTL lubricants should gravitate toward a specialized oil filter designed GTL lubricants and if so, do you know the identity of such filters?

Thank You Jim 🤗👍! Yes, we have a Stat-X line of filter elements that we have successfully shown to work even under the most demanding operating conditions, i.e., cold start at 15°C and high flux through the element, up to 0.8 L/min/cm2 though I would certainly not advise to go above 0.05 L/min/cm2.

Very interesting would be the POLAR filtration system iussue for electric motors lubrication, similar to ATF with all the valve body and circuits. BimmerN53
