Great topic with some great ideas. The beginning stage of planning is so much about color, texture and form and I enjoy finding that in msgazines, Pinterest, RU-vid and just people watching. As you said inspiration is everywhere.
Great video Rebecca! I am a sewer of many years and I traditionally purchased fabric that just appealed to me and not much thought to coordination of colors. As I watch your videos and others, I see the benefits of being able to switch the different pieces around to make a new outfit. This video also provided a lot of wonderful information as where to find inspiration in current clothing trends. And, all the great fashion in years gone by. Hi Olga! Great question. I love reversible clothing- especially on coats and jackets. Because they’re worn over other pieces they tend to stay in great shape. I also love fabrics that are beautiful on both sides. I’ve seen a few mid weight knots in two colors, like blue on one side and red on the other that I think would look spectacular.
