Christian bought his wife a 2023 Maverick Tremor XLT in Avalanche Gray. Get her reaction to the new truck (she thinks it's "cute") and their plans for its future (pink decals, anyone?). This video provides a female perspective on the Tremor and why it just might be the perfectly sized pickup for a woman.

I have a Jeep Gladiator Rubicon lifted with 35s and my wife traded her Ford Explorer for a F150 Hybrid Powerboost we needed to pull our Camper with. I ordered a XLT hybrid Maverick over 500 days ago and received it mid April…I will be using it for my business later. Sitting in the driveway my wife decided to start using it and love’s it…she’s getting almost 45mpg and likes how easy it is to drive and park.

I think a hybrid would be a great option but almost impossible to get one right now. I had ordered this Tremor back in September so was able to get this one at a very good price. Even though she doesn't really need the off-road capability of the Tremor the suspension rides great. And I know the truck will keep her safe and not get stuck in snow.

I couldn't justify giving up my lifted FX4 for the other Tremor I ordered but if my wife drives the Tremor then we get to have the best of both worlds. 4K Towing on my lifted FX4 and the locking dual rear clutch on the Tremor.

I'd not shy away from keeping the Tremor. I should have given it a bit more thought to ordering that package myself, but I really like the standard XLT interior and wasn't as fond of the more XL-like trim that comes with the Tremor pkg. The driveline certainly would make up for that, though. Pink decals..... Purple would look sharper in my opinion. Oh, perhaps a cap on the bed would also make it feel more like an SUV; and the bed slider idea would work great too.

Hey Christian! Any updates? Did you ditch the Tremor? I have both configs on order for '24 and they should be finished one week apart. I have to decide which to get. How much better does the Tremor ride than the FX4? Any difference in acceleration and handling? I appreciate any lengthy details you are willing to give! Thanks!

Nice truck good for you....I was going to sell my 2023 Toyota Tacoma Off Road with 1200 miles on it to get a Tremor ....had no such luck getting one. 😔...how did you get so lucky?...did you pay over though?.....I may try again in 2024 as I now know what to avoid when ordering one. I may however just get an XLT FX4 in Cactus Gray and call it a day.

It's funny. I have a 2022 FX4 Cactus Gray with the 4K Tow Package. Love it! I had ordered the Tremor last September and bought it for my wife when it came in. Got a great deal. Anyway, looks like we are going to end up selling it. She likes the truck, but came out of an SUV and wants to get back into one...

No we sold it last summer and made like $5k. She ended up with a 2024 Crosstrek. She loves it and I have to admit it's a really nice and capable little vehicle.
