For the majority of radars and air defense systems such a target is invisible. Moreover, for the first time on TV, we’ll show you the newest Arctic version of the Tor. The journalists will set up a severe test for its cross-country abilities at the range: they’ll make it climb a steep hill, overcome a swamp and mud, and then they’ll drive the vehicle into water and leave it for a couple of hours. This is one of the most important tests of the air defense system - the test for leakproofness. In addition, the viewers of Combat Approved will visit the plant that assembles this unique air defense system and its electronic eyes - the phased array radar. Moreover, you’ll see the trials of the marine version of the Tor: the air defense system will shoot at cruise missiles from the Admiral Grigorovich frigate.
