lol big brown saying at the start of the show hes a deep sleeper then at the end says that hes a light sleeper. big brown has an issue of alternating himself and his stories/habits to fit the topic of conversation.
fastfingersfunk Eddie Bravo Radio : crappy sound, no sound check, no nothing, I stopped. The Church of Truth Joey Diaz : nice stories, but can't hear Joey talk 50% of the time. The Fighter and the Kid : sound is too low or... too high... Burt : perfect. Sometimes I wonder if the other podcasts do listen to the remarks of the listeners about the sound... don't do a podcast if the sound is shitty !!!!! It is fuckin useless !!!!! Yes Burt sound > billion dollar company.
Petit Louis Burt makes people hold mics in which the other podcasts use headsets and other cheap sound equipment. I completely agree and it really bugs me that a podcast which is similar to a radio station, would use second rate audio recording devices. One of my pet peeves for sure.
I saw a thumbnail that said brown and bert did a podcast 2 weeks ago... I'm high pressin rewind all the time cuz of this comedic flow... and my mind's up and down like a fuckin yoyo...
15:30... super funny! Shaub is explaining the Rogan thing and Bert just walks off. I loved that bit coz Shaub was all serious trying to make sense of it all. First time watching Bert's podcast and at least ive had a few laughs already. Sorry Brenda, it was at your expense, as are most of my chuckles on The Fighter and the Kid. I have to say though you are learning the essence of talking and not just shouting over everybody else who is talking. Well done. I do love Callen for his intellectual take on the things you talk about! Chalk n cheese, but it works well =) .
i feel total regret if i reward myself for nothing, like alcohol or video games, watching movies, before Ive done some hard work, something i didnt feel like doing, but knew it had to be done and forced myself, if I try to do anything fun or cool before getting it done, total guilty feeling. I completely get what Schaub is saying. I will smoke a little bud to relax my racing mind, but that's not a reward, its more medication-meditative state of being. Ive got games Im excited to play, but just can't bring myself to play without finishing my work 1st, and the more I put it off, the more I deprive myself of rewards, like torture, but its my conscious controlling my ego that always wants habitual fun, trying to sacrifice. Nobody wants to play defense, I can play offense all day, its fun and easy, but defense is the grind work that builds power.
+Neil Richardson don't judge him brother he's alot more humble then he puts on he's just trying to be a goofball and plays it up alot on podcast to be funny. Meeting him in person is a treat he really is awesome dude to be around!
Bert is drinking Fiji water? Fiji is a place I'd never want to go since if water is like 4 dollars a quart there, I bet showering is out of peoples price range.
"wwe is fake" OMG. Stop saying that! NO ONE THINKS ITS REAL. "Im excited to see if John Cena wins next week" Whats the difference between this and someone saying "Im excited to see what happens next week on Dexter, LOST, Game of thrones, Days of our lives, Bones, Family Guy, Gotham, spiderman on broadway etc. See a pattern here? The list could go on forever. So, are people not allowed to get excited for events as long as its "fake"? Lift ur shield.
Konstantin Sandler "wwe = dog shit if you are over 12" is like me saying "rap music = dog shit if you are over 12" Its not a true statement. Its an opinion. Its not kosher to say that music sucks, you should view it as, "I dont like that type of music" "That comedian is NOT funny" instead it should be " That comedian is not funny TO ME" Its called difference is taste. Voicing your opinions as facts makes people sound ignorant. I get it if you dont like it. But why put down others that enjoy it?
+juan twotree i literally just had a change of opinion while reading your comment, initially i would've said that's an unfair comparison to compare wwe to rap but you know what, just as much as some people including me might say wwe is shit because it's fake i now agree with you it may be fake but that doesn't necessarily make it bad, mainly because it just hit me reality tv is just as fake as are movies, movies are not real and yet we hold them in such high regard so i take your point if people enjoy wwe i don't see why that should be a reason to talk down to people
