So sorry for your breakdown. Looks like you have a 30' AS and a F150 tow truck. I am going to assume you have the Max Tow and Heavy Duty Payload Package, Eco Boost and 10 speed tranny. Just an observation but that combo is probably pretty much maxed out. Possibly a F250/350 with the 7.3 gasser engine would be a better combo. The gas engine would give you a better payload than an oil burner. Also, a 4.30 axle ratio, available with the 7.3, would be an even better combo. Just sayin.......From one AS owner to another.
Yes we have the heavy duty payload max towing. I asked the ford dealer mechanic about the 10 speed tranny as it also exists in the F350. He said the gearing is slightly different in the 350 though. Now that the kids a bigger and my wife no longer has to lift them up into the car seats we will probably upgrade to a super duty, but only after the market settles down. Many of the dealers are asking for $20,000 above msrp for super duties right now.... which I won't pay.
@@johnjessjourney2352 Ain’t that something. Didn’t realize so much ran off 12V. So when you’re plugged in at a site, it’s charging your batteries and then the 12V items run off batteries huh?
@@airstream16 Correct. The AC's surprised me - those arent 12v obviously but the control pad to turn them on is. And the fridge, the lights, the water pump...
