Nice to see that your journey has brought you to my neck of the woods. Enjoy the Icefield Parkway. About halfway, you’ll reach The Big Bend (big highway loop) and climb toward Sunwapta Pass. There is a pullout about half way up which is an excellent spot to get out for a photo looking back (south) and see the black face of Mt Saskatchewan (I think that’s the one). I stop there every time I go through there. Half fun and drive safe!!
Amazing memories, John. So cool too see you in this neck of the woods 😊 Be sure to have bear spray and carry it in your hand or hip when hiking those trails. The same with Jasper. Are you guys going into British Columbia next?
Yup, we always take bear spray. We were originally supposed to head through B.C. after jasper but due to our truck issues we have to head back to Bozeman to get the truck once it's fixed. So no BC this time - next summer yes though.
