Frusciante reminds me of Lanegan in that their voices grips you and Ethan perfectly said it, it puts you in this state. They know how to perfectly use their voice and when and where to use their voice. John's voice is so underrated and so real, every lyric has you hanging on waiting for the next one to come. His guitar sound is so smooth and drawn out, nothing feels rushed and it all feels so natural. I found his catalog a little more than a year ago and cant stop listening to his art in what feels like about every day. The Empyrean is my favorite album with songs like Unreachable, Dark/Light, Heaven, Central, and One More of Me. Curtains is also fantastic with The Past Recedes, Anne, Control, and Ascension. loved that you guys brought up Johnny F
