Exterior mods make it stand out, but you spend all your time in the Jeep: love the stereo head unit, interior lighting and backup mirror. Makes you want to get in and never leave! Love this series!
I bought my son a 97 tj for his first vehicle and I watch all your videos to help with after market mods. I’ve used your videos for headlights stereo and control arms! Thank you for your content love it!! ❤
I think this light mod might be my favorite.. It's hard to say but lighting seems to be the one thing stock jeeps lack. I love your channel and look forward to all your videos. GC ROCKS!
Each episode becomes my favorite, my favorite mode was the fog lights in this episode....I love this look....I look forward to seeing each video, thank you for posting these. They make my day better.
The interior lighting makes for much better night time driving. I’ve got a small light that just plugs into a USB port but really adds to my ability to see the shifter/ center console area. The front adjustable control arms are my favorite mod. Makes a big upgrade in strength over the stock ones and super easy to correct angles if/when you decide to switch to bigger tires. You guys are the most down toe earth Jeep couple on RU-vid. 👍
I have been looking at purchasing an auxbeam switch panel for a long time now. You guys made the install look seamless. I love rear view mirror upgrade and head unit the best. You guys do an awesome job!!
That’s a wrap. My favorite Jeep couple of all time. Love all the TJ mods you’ve done on here. I’m currently having my TJ built (major project). My favorite mods you did was the bumper install. This TJ looks great. Inspiration of what I can do to mine. Thank you and can’t wait to see what you do next on your next project.
This jeep looks too good. Would have been great to install a 4.0 engine as well. Can't wait to see the LJ mods and what you guys have in store for that. This series of videos have been phenomenal
My daughter and I just purchased a TJ for her to fix up and learn to drive on. She is doing the mods herself! Great life lesson are being learned. We found your channel doing research and y'all do a great job on the videos. Our favorite mod is the switch panel!
That is awesome! So happy to hear of all the quality time you guys will have together. Send us photos to our email and we'll feature it on an episode! Cheers
you guys have done soooo much stuff to that Jeep... It's awesome! My favorite mod would have to be the headlights. Those were awesome and i would not mind having set 😂
My favorite mod/video was the sea foam treatment and spark plugs. I used your guide video to do the same to my 97’ TJ and made a world of difference. My next mod will be the control arm (and yes, I will be following your video 😅) great overall project. Can’t wait for the LJ !!
I think these lights would be one of the best mods for my '09 JK. Especially the fog lights & the switch pod. This was one of my favorite mods video in this series.
Garage Couple fan since just before the TJ Build and you guys have 100% inspired some mods in gonna do to my JKU. Would love to add these headlights to my build. Keep up the great content, and congrats on the completion of this little 4cylinder guy. He’s come a long way.
The auxbeam mod is so simple and professional looking. Looks like the install is straightforward and flexible options to use. Keep up the great videos.
I'm in Canada - so no contest for me! Those headlights definitely grew on me - I wish those existed when I did my fenders - I ended up adding turn signals into the grill (like a CJ). Those fog lights are super bright - and the swappable covers are such a good idea. The switch panel is pretty cool too - always wondered how those worked; I've seen them a few times but never bothered to look into them! Can't wait for the LJ project to start!
After all the mods, the jeep looks great. I would have to say that nothing beat a nice set of good quality head lights. Being able to see better and know what's in front of you a is always plus. safety first.
You guys are an entertaining couple! The aux beam is slick and as you know, interior lighting is fair, at best, inside these Jeeps. I’d have to say the Aux Beam is my favorite mod from the video since it opens the door to additional lighting for any jeep plus it looks simple for anyone to do. I’m really excited for the upcoming LJ videos, I have an 04 on 35’s😎🤙🏻#pickme🤣
You guys are amazing! It goes to show that true professionals can't get their hands dirty and be just like those of us working the daily grind. I'm sure to guys bust your assets every day and to still have time to have fine and get dirty. The light change was definitely the best. My LEDs weren't out short of a year but those make me want to change them again. Keep up the great work 🎉
Hey there! I've been really enjoying the videos showcasing the incredible transformation of that 4-cylinder TJ into an impressive off-road machine. The rocktrim rims and tire combo, the stylish roof rack, and that rugged TRAILCRUSHER front bumper all look fantastic. And those lights, wow, they really add a cool touch! As a devoted TJ owner for the past 19 years, I'm always on the lookout for ways to upgrade and improve my ride. Despite not having the best gas mileage, I still cherish the experience of driving it every single day. My next exciting upgrade will be to get the patriot hardtop you guys posted about last year for those exciting getaways, and I'm also considering adding some skyjacker adx 2.0 to enhance its performance. Can't wait to see how these upgrades will elevate the already incredible driving experience
My favorite mod would be the lift kit. After all who doesn't love a good lift on a tj. But the one I found the most interesting was by far the seafoam. So much so, that I am planning on doing it to my tj.
Hello from TX!! I think my favorite mod has got to be the new headlights. I’m a sucker for some nice lights! My wife says the only thing that would make them cooler is if on the start up animation they went “doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doop!” as the spiral went around lol 😂
You guys have done everything I would love to do to mine expect for the headlights not a huge fan of them. But everything else keeping it a budget build was awesome. I also have a 98 2.5L!! Waiting on buying a new/used AX5 for it. it is still drivable but 1-3rd is really loud!!!
I’ve watched and rewatched almost every episode. I’d say this one about the lighting or the installation of rear bumper. Wait forgot about the front, removing the ANGRY GRILL. We have a ‘97 TJ.
I like the AuxBeam Switch Panel. I’ve been eyeing that since it came out. I’m a retired Firefighter, so my build is crawling along pretty slow, but I’m getting there.
The lift kit was by far a great video 👍👍👍👍. I liked how you kept it real, like when you broke the rear shock bolt. I had the same issue a couple of weeks ago broke a bolt on my rear shock too. Keep up the great work you guys and keep up the great how to videos!!!!!!
@@Garagecouple tell me about it when it snapped I paused gor a while in shock 🤣. Then I came to my senses and did exactly what you did , drilled a new hole and its all good 👍👍👍👍.
Going to go take a look at a 2017 JKU this week. Used to own a 04 TJ. Definetly miss not having it but Ive been getting the "itch" to buy another wrangler for a few months now.
Check out the 2024 wrangler 4xe lease specials.. crazy affordable with all the incentives and dig the new interior.. either that or fine a 4.0 6 speed 2006 TJ and hold it forever
All you mods are great. You two are hilarious. I love watching your videos. I like those auxbeam fog lights and wonder if they can work as ditch lights.
Great video GC . GC Never lets us down with awesome ideas and new products. Thanks again. I always appreciate a new lighting mod, simply because it Adds the night game to trailing. JKU driver East Coast.👍
I love the Aries bumper, and the new headlights installed in this episode. I am looking to upgrade my TJ headlights, since I still have my stock ones. Thanks to your episode I will be purchasing the MICTUNING headlight :)
All added so much to the project, but I am going with the Aries bumper and winch mod. It is just so amazing what a difference in changing the ugly duckling into a legit offroad machine.
All the episodes for this TJ were all really good.. you took a little rinky dink TJ and transformed it into a beast of a jeep. If I have to pick one? I would say that in 2nd place would be the control arms it was really nice upgrade and you got really dirty 😅. #1 is this last episode with all the different ligbt available to add to the TJ you guys picked the the best option for this Jeep.. good work guys keep'em coming
This Jeep is looking super cool for being on a tight budget. I love those LED headlights from Mictuning! I have a TJ myself and those would be a super nice replacement for my halogen headlights!
Great build. I am curious why you didn’t put lights in the blinkers in the fenders as there is spot for some. On the wires you cut off for the fogs, even though you aren’t using them and cutting them short advice my electrician dad gave me: cut them short but leave enough so you can reconnect if you change your mind later.
We like the cleaner look of just having them built in the headlights. It's a lot brighter. Our TJ rubicon has both the blinker in fender and in headlight. And agree, always leave room to reconnect. Luckily, relays are really easy to work with. Can always refeed into the terminal
I feel like the wolfbox g900 has to be my favorite mod of this jeep because it’s something I’ve been looking for mine cause I hate how blind I am when I’m reversing 😂
