RIP Trevor... Only got to hang out with you this one podcast episode but you lived up to your reputation as one of the coolest and nicest guys in metal.
Oh man. I thought I had consumed all pre Trevor passing content. This was an awesome 2 hour good time. I saw them at the lost in New York an 2010 and it was an incredible show.
Trevor was the most solid and fun loving person I have ever met. I met him the first time and told him Nocturnal was their best record and I wanted to buy all of his drinks and smoke him out, he put his arm around me and said “let’s fucking do it man!” I am gonna miss him so much - love this hangout. I’m so sorry you guys, he was such a lovely dude.
I sent my bands demos to Indonesia in the 90’s. I’m not sure how they originally were exposed to it but they’ve been into death metal for a long time! My band broke up in 2001 and reformed in 2014 and they still remembered us! 🤷♂️
I can't overstate Trev's impact on my life growin up with TBDM and the Obituarist. Dude was a massive influence on my journey through the weird/brutal side of music and I could never repay him for all the positivity it brought to my life. I just hope he realized how much love and appreciation we all have for him. You are irreplaceable man, a true ambassador of the underground. RIP.
I’ve been obsessed with TBDM since 2005 when I traded my Gorerotted ,Tools n Corpses cd for fuckin Unhallowed. Got me high as fuck and still has the same effect. R.I.P. brother.
1:47:05 I was at that show I remember that as soon as decrepit started playing the middle of the floor where I was standing opened up into a pit and a bunch of people fell over and one guy smashed his face on the floor and broke his nose, there was blood everywhere. Great show.
Always pause to go check out a band that gets brought up that I haven't heard before. Seriously go listen to Theory in Practice if you haven't heard of them. They're unfuckinbelievable. RIP Trevor..
