In the third video of the Tohoku series, we are in Miyagi Prefecture! Our adventure kicks off with the majestic Okama Crater atop Mount Zao, a stunning natural wonder. From there, we check out a hot spring hotel, visit a castle, eat beef tongue, and embark on a foodie tour through Sendai's Iroha Yokocho!

Just realised no alert set, now fixed and added you on Insta as well. Lovely series, caves looked stunning and you certainly know how to pick a Ryokan!!! Cant wait for next episode. Mt. Zao has been on my list for a very, very long time. I really hope I can travel to Japan again soon. I miss onsen and all the delicious food. :)

this is a food where you enjoy the texture... 😂 ... reminds me of my very first time trying ika-sushi... I was chewing on it for such a long time, until I used tea to finally get it down my throat.. as a whole😅

Hey! Always good to see a new video from you, keep them coming. Looks like a fun road trip and it looks like Sendai has recovered very nicely from the disaster. I want to teach in Japan so badly, but the cost of living is too high. I wonder if there are Asian countries besides China with good income but moderate COL.

I mean the cost of living anywhere outside of Tokyo is a lot cheaper than Western countries! Of course the salary is lower too, but you can have a nice life in the countryside without needing to make a lot of money!

The cost of living in Japan is way less than the US and Western Europe. Basically pick any major city besides Tokyo and you can live comfortably on what would be considered poverty wages in the US. Even Tokyo is reasonable if you stick to the outskirts.

Yunushi Ichijo looks great! Do you remember what your mattress was like? Would you recommend it to people who don't sleep well on a hard mattress? Also, I liked Sendai but 😢 haven't even been to Iroha Yokocho! Maybe I also need to go back 😊.

I need to go to Sendai :) rock n roll bar frequented by Cindie Lauper and Chris broad ( heard it as Chris Rock, was like, since when does he like rock music.. is it just because of his last name????) BTW if you like rock metal hardcore and in Tokyo, I highly recommend Godz (laid back bar) and Antiknocks as a place to see live music, first place I crowdsurfed in japan :)

As you write it, for Spanish, the pronunciation would be heard Miyahee. but the way you pronounce it, it should be spelled Miyagui. ("Miyagui" in spanish Language, but in english too)

Chris Broad had potential--his Fukushima video was his best and one of the best of all the vids on the subject--but it seems he has forsaken his advantage to make cheesy bro-oriented videos. It is sad because it is like seeing one of your friends who had so much potential fall prey to a drug habit.
